Stellar grinned, beneath the nice scarf that covers her face and cloak that covers her body from the harsh sandstorm. This time she came prepared, still short sleeved shirt though, but long, comfortable pants. The girl hummed, in the middle of this harsh desert, but the beating winds and sand is nothing but a comfort.
'Every single time,' she thought, 'It's always the desert.' Her first friend in the war. Her first friend in Hoenn as well. The desert is a wonderful place to be, a beautiful place in Stellar's eyes.
She giggled a little. They were suppose to be here training and resting, a bit of both. Sitting on her Aggron's shoulder like this gives her a good view, or as good view as she could ever have in this raging sandstorm. She kinda misses her Archeops' Protect in this kind of situation, but both of her Archeops are there in front of her, involved in some kind of battle dance. Stellar allows them to train on their own, watching and giving her opinions when they need it. Beneath the two Ancient Bird Pokemon is her Armaldo, hitting the two bird Pokemon from the ground.
Their training is beautiful, and the sand makes them creative. Stellar watched, her head leaned to her Aggron's head, her cheeks again the cool metal. Her eyes are watching closely, despite how sandy it is. She could barely make out their forms, but this is good training for herself as well. What if they are stuck in a situation where she could hardly see her Pokemon in battle? She must know who and what they are doing by instinct then.
'There goes Plume,' she thought. The whole movement just felt like her female bird Pokemon, faster and slightly more aggressive, using Dragon Tail on the Armaldo. Syroan had used Protect, keeping itself safe. Stellar barely saw another movement when Sam came into view, smashing into Plume's figure, sending both bird Pokemon out of the air.
'We will all have to take a rest soon,' Stellar thought, 'Aria needs a little training as well, but she's last.' If only because her Aggron is the strongest, and it will definitely end their training session.
Her training is kicking up more sand to add into the raging sandstorm...
As Plume smashed downwards from the air and rolled over, barely avoiding Syroan's Cross Poison, the sand kicked up enough to reveal a trembling Baltoy, having dragged out of it's hiding spot by force. It's brown body camouflaged well against the sand, so Stellar didn't spot it until Aria let out a grunt and a howl, stopping the three Pokemon from training.
Taking that opportunity, the Baltoy scrambled away, fearful. "Oh my, Aria," Stellar looked surprised, "I didn't notice it there." A guilty expression manifested itself on er face. "I'm so sorry," she whispered to the now already gone Baltoy. She could have killed it by accident. Is her actions causing danger now? Her training?
Briefly, she's reminded of the time when she sees powerful trainer tear down houses, buildings with their Pokemon moves as though as they are nothing, as though as they are not destroying people's homes.
A sudden movement from Aria jolted her from her thoughts, and she clung on to the Aggron to maintain her balance. "Ria?"
The Aggron grunted, nudging her head towards the trainign ground. Stellar looked, and her other three Pokemon looked back, question in their eyes. "Oh..." Stellar realized.
'Not intentional,' Aria had said, 'Just be more careful next time, the best you could do.'
"Alright guys!" Stellar smiled weakly, "Go back to your training! Be careful!" She turned back and leaned even closer to the Aggron, if possible. "Thanks, Ria." She'll never feel less guilty, but at least she won't wallow in it, she hoped.
Aria gave back a soft sound, and they went back watching the training together, Stellar's other three Pokemon battling each other once more, kicking sands up again and again, mindful to look out for anything they might hurt by accident.
This time, it was Stellar who saw the newest addition to their training field.
"Guys, stop!" she cried out, loud enough to freeze her three Pokemon in their tracks and Aria to let out a pleased grunt. So Stellar noticed it huh? The Cacnea that scuttled away in fright too, tripping over itself then looking back, as if awaiting it's own defeat.
"Go on, Cacnea," Stellar urged, "You won't be harmed. Go."
That got the Cacnea running away again, this time burrowing to the sand and disappearing into the sandstorm. Stellar let out a sigh of relief. This made her feel slightly better, though it didn't totally make her feelings of guilt vanish from the earlier Baltoy. The Cacnea reminded her of the one that latched on to their sledding cart, hers and Etta's, back then. That was pretty funny, in a way.
"Continue, guys," Stellar urged her two Archeops and her Armaldo. She felt like joining their training soon, into the fray herself. But not yet, now, she'll watch.
Stellar can't help but stare at it for a moment, and Sam walked over with this Pokemon a little....dazed? in his grip. They spotted him earlier than she did, she thinks ruefully. Oh well, it's only expected.
"Let it go somewhere safe," she said. She already knew Sam would let it go somewhere anyway, unless they want it to join the team, but she wanted to say it anyway, for some form of comfort.
Sam walked over, barely ducking under the fierce blows of Plume and Syroan, releasing the Spinda. The dazed Pokemon walked...or maybe spun around a few times, disappearing into the wild. Okay?
Stellar held out her pokeball and promptly returned Sy , who looked too exhausted already. "Just the two of you now," she mentioned to both Archeops, and the two of them clashed, while Stellar leaned back to Aria.
Just a little more....maybe she should use that thing in her bag....if this goes on....
Stellar very nearly flew in front and away from the Aggron if the large Pokemon didn't keep her grip on her, careful to make sure Stellar remains safe. Something else fell off from her bag, though, the can rolling on the sand.
Stellar recognized what can it is; it's her can of repel! Her priority is first to find out who was the one that rammed into Aria, with that force, no less, but before she could identify what it is, something set the can of repel off, and the thing sprayed a foul smell into the air.
Her two Archeops cringed, Aria letting a disgruntled growl. Whatever that rammed into Aria let out a wail, before running off as well. It must be a wild Pokemon then, Stellar thought wistfully, but such a strong one. She crawled downwards to slightly to inspect where Aria got rammed. A barely noticeable dent, but Stellar's going to attribute that to the fact that Aria is pretty strong nowadays, so to make a dent just showcased how powerful that wild Pokemon is. 'Would have been a good addition to the team,' she mused, 'Oh well.'
Her Pokemon eventually shrugged off the effects to the repel, and Aria just pushed Stellar back up to her shoulder. The sands are getting rough, they will be heading back soon.

OOC :: Passing the Rhyhorn but reluctantly. Oh well. Thanks anyway. Used a can of repel for one last Pokemon.[/quote]
Stellar stood up and jumped down from Aria's shoulder.
"That's enough guys," she said to the two Archeops, "One final match. The two of you against me....and Ria."
The two Arcehops perked up, in the same time looking wary. One couldn't blame them, Aria and Stellar are a good combo in their team. Stellar herself took a defensive stance, standing close to Ria, who readied herself.
And Sam struck first, flying forward with a quick Ancient Power, rocks appearing to his aid. Stellar ducked, allowing Aria's tail to flew over her head and smashed into those rocks, raining the fragments over the girl, but Stellar's already in front, jumping onto Sam's back. The sand is making everything harder, and the girl missed her target, though it threw Sam of course.
Plume was there to back her partner up, though. Agility boosted, she hit the sand with Dragon Tail, kicking up a wall of sand. Stellar slide back to Aria's side, and her Aggron burst through the wall of sand with Surf.
Unexpectedly, though, a Trapinch flew from the kicked sand and towards Stellar, jaws wide open. Instinctively, Stellar took out the knife she had near her, holding it up to block the jaws, but Aria was faster. The Surf attack was stopped and the Aggron caught hold of the Trapinch in her hands.
The Trapinch wasn't letting it go, though. It clamped it's jaws down on Aria's arm. Though it isn't damaging, the Aggron looked at Stellar, warning her slightly with a grunt. The large Pokemon could feel pressure clamping down, and if the Trapinch have enough willpower, it might just be able to chew through the steel armor.
Stellar frowned, thinking. Their training is officially interrupted, considering this random, Trapinch addition. She thought she have more time to think what to do, until Plume screeched, warning her. Stellar looked up to see a glorious but deadly sight, the Trapinch is preparing a Hyper Beam.
No.
Stellar could feel her mindset changed to something darker, her eyes narrowing. "Sam, Protect! Plume, Dragon Tail!"
Everything happened at once.
Aria let go of the Trapinch, turning around to cover Stellar with her body. Sam, her male Archeops, ran forward and tackled both the Aggron and Stellar, enveloping the three of them in Protect. When he tackled Stellar, the girl could feel her bag's strap snap, and the bag went flying out of the field of the Portect, sending few items into the air.
Meanwhile, Plume hit the Trapinch with a Dragon Tail, taking care to not put enough force to kill it, only to make it faint, because hey, it's innocent too? The smack send the Trapinch up into the air as well, the force fainting it in one blow.
And one of Stellar's flying pokeballs hit the Trapinch.
