Zeus almost danced down the back road that he lived at the end of...
Almost doesn't count.
Zeus was dancing and scooting along in a excited and colorful demeanor, smiling big while Cole, the Electivire, Chin-chi the Shinx and Uguro the Aron followed along behind him. That Electivire was taking some time to get used to such a character as Zeus, but Chin-chi and Uguro had no problem whatsoever dancing behind him, hopping and chirping in a style that matched Zeus's current shuffle.
"Ah. Who knew we would get a sunny day such as this? Cole, my friend! Don't be so shy!" He encouraged with a smile. That Electivire was still new to the team and it was under Zeus's suspicions that he had probably never been around a trainer like him... or ever been on a stage, dressed up and performing next to a man who resembled a cyborg ninja while bright lights and flashing colors took over their world with a heavy beat.
Actually, there was no doubting it. It was very obvious that Cole had no experience on a stage or next to Zeus, cause training him for their metal performance was definitely a thing. Especially when Chin-chi and Uguro seemed to try so hard to direct him. Poor thing. Hopefully he would catch the drift of things soon and then he could move with the grace the rest of his partners have.
The roar of her motorbike and the wind whipping past her was all Elysia could hear. Her hands held tight to the handles, her feet placed firmly on their rests, while she bent slightly forward in her seat. If not for the pilot cap atop her head, she would be completely blinded by her hair. Long, beautiful blonde locks that curled just slightly at the end. Well, when she wasn't biking, that is. Usually, after a quick ride, her once beautifully placed locks are in tatters. They stick every which way, and, without a brush or comb, she has no chance of taming them. Luckily for Elysia, She's always got a spare in the cargo bag on the side of the army-styled vehicle.
Speaking of her cargo bag, a blue ball of fluff snuggled deep inside. Along with it, a small yellow insectoid whom clung to other pokemon's fur. Deemed Lykas and Jasper respectively, the two were none other than Elysia's Shinx and Joltik. The two had learned to love the high speeds that Elysia preferred. Her driving wasn't exactly safe, and slightly reckless, as she rarely followed a speed limit. Save for when she is stuck in a traffic jam, behind a slow car, or simply around a very heavy populated area. She may be a bit on the reckless side, but the blonde wasn't an idiot.
So, traveling at cut-throat speeds, Elysia was having the time of her life. That, as well as wanting to get out of this arceus forsaken city as fast as she possibly could. Coming from Flash City, the culture made her sick. She was looking for jobs, and was a bit desperate, but as spoiled as she was, Elysia refused to stick around in a place such as this. She actually preferred the bright lights and chaos, while the serene getup made her wary. She had to get out.
It seemed as Elysia's plans to leave were about to be cut short, as Lykas starting going absolutely wild. He attempted to climb out of the cargo bag, clamping his jaws down on Elysia's varsity jacket and tugging hard. It took about three more times before she finally paid him any mind, and you should be lucky it didn't take a fourth. In front of Elysia, which she was finally able to focus on, were five figures. They were approaching fast, or, rather, she was approaching fast. Lykas's fur lit up, a defense mechanism the shinx was born with. The flash momentarily blinded Elysia, and she made a sudden swerve to the right, braking just in time to avoid a nasty accident.
Once they had stopped, and Elysia had recovered her vision, she turned to Lykas with an expression of pure anger. "You could've killed everyone with that move, smart-ass!" Now, don't get me wrong, Elysia loved her pokemon dearly. It was just that the situation was not the best to be in, especially when you're responsible for blinding your driver. Though, no more angry remarks followed as Elysia finally noticed they were in earshot of the group they had almost crashed into. In fact, they were only about 2 precious yards away. Elysia didn't know what to do, she was ready to panic. The man appeared rather large and built, as well as having four pokemon at his side. Wait, no, one was a small child. Oh dear, she has done it now.
On cue, she began to cry. Tears fell from her eyes, streaking down her cheeks in two prominent lines. "I'm so, so sorry! Please don't call the authorities." The rest of what she had to say melted into gibberish. She was frightened, sure, but this whole thing was just an act. It was a pretty damn good one. "Please, mister." She wanted to puke.
//My posts will definitely not be this long in the future. It's just an intro sooooooo yea... ono
There's a beauty in everything that many cannot see; join me in loving this world
Zeus stopped in his tracks when he heard a loud, oncoming noise, but when he turned to look at where it was coming from, there was a bright flash and Rosa began to scream loudly. Instinctively, his arm wrapped around the girl and he turned his back to the flash, ducking down and covering her with his body. All three of his Pokemon began to bicker though.
Time was at a standstill for Zeus and he stayed over top of the four year old girl, not moving an inch. Finally, he took a deep breath and stood up, holding the child to his chest. Rosa continued to sob and cry though, arms around Zeus and holding onto him tightly.
Then there were sobs coming from behind him. Cole, Chin-Chi and Uguro were all bristled at the person on the bike. Cole looked ready to crush the woman though, and so did the others, but Zeus held up a hand and shook his head. "No no. Don't be upset. Nothing but a simple accident.. and I do believe no one was hurt... are you OK?"
He asked her with a gentle tone, walking over with the no longer sobbing Rosa on his hip. The little girl held onto Zeus and looked at the other woman with a raised eyebrow, curious. Her face was still a little red and blotchy, and her eyes were still puffy from the sudden onset of fear induced crying.
Elysia forced herself into a state of shock. She sobbed, constantly wiping tears out of her eyes and sniffling. Her face had turned bright red, and her eyes puffy. She looked like a train wreck in all honesty, which is exactly what she wanted. Her abilities to act should've put her on the stages she worked behind, but, sadly, her attitude sort of stuck her in a place where no one had to hear it. Hey, it wasn't her fault she was a spoiled brat. Blame the parents whom raised her. That's what she does!
No matter that, Elysia was dealing with some serious bull crap at the moment. She almost ran over a child. A little, tiny, four year old child. It's still a fetus for arceus's sake! She was certain the man would be furious, tell her she shouldn't be speeding, and call the authorities immediately. So, it surprised the blonde when he responded to her with a soft, gentle tone. She sniffed once more, attempting to speak through all of her quick breaths. Dear god, she even got herself to start hyperventilating. "I- I- I I I'm O-okay", she choked out, staring up at the man.
Elysia's pokemon, both with a different agenda, scurried around like mad. Jasper, her little joltik, squeaked violently and crawled up onto Elysia's head. She had taken off her helmet earlier, and he attempted to burrow himself in her hair. However, Lykas, her brawler shinx, jumped from his cargo bag and stood tall. He glared at the pokemon by the man's side, though wouldn't dare make a move without Elysia's command. To someone who didn't know any better he seemed either highly disciplined or fiercely loyal. Of course, it was the latter. "Shiii", he growled.
