Ichiro clutched the Safari Ball firmly in his grip. He was going on his first safari zone expedition today. Upon surveying the available Pokemon list, he discovered that the Urban zone was the one with the most Dragon-types, and if he wanted to become a Dragon Master, he would have to start catching and training Dragons. He trekked through the area, surveying the abandoned buildings around him. It looked as though he were walking through the remains of a once-proud city. A couple plants grew here and there, but they were covered by a layer of sand. An ominous wind blew, causing Ichiro to shiver slightly. Hopefully this would be worth it; if he did not walk out of the area with some type of Dragon Pokemon, he'd at least have a pretty cool rare one to keep.
He surveyed the area, scouting out alleyways and corners, looking high and low for Pokemon. He hoped something would be seen soon; he was getting slightly bored. |

 The purple ball of slime oozed out of a crack. It was a Ditto; while Ichiro knew that this little guy would likely be useful in breeding, he wasn't of utmost importance in the now. Ichiro sent out Hercules the Magikarp. The Ditto saw this and used its signature move to transform itself into a Magikarp as well. This would be pretty simple. Hercules looked up at Ichiro, disappointed, as if to question him. "You want me to fight this?", he would likely say (if he could talk, of course.)
Alright, Hercules. You're gonna be fighting yourself here, I guess... so keep using Tackle!
Hercules and Ichiro were in an alleyway, so Hercules simply had to leap into a wall, turn and propel himself towards the flopping Ditto-karp on the ground. He struck; the Ditto-magikarp flopped about, using Splash (But nothing happened!) and Hercules did the same thing again, slamming into the imposter fish over and over until the Ditto was tired. It stopped flopping; it lay on the ground in a stillness that could only be described as a fainting, and poofed back into Ditto. Ichiro passed by.
Sorry, ditto dude. Maybe another time. |

Ichiro wanted a dragon type, but he found a Riolu instead. He was a cute little guy, and Ichi had enough pocket cash to buy another safari pass, so he decided to catch this Pokemon and buy another pass later. Riolu was a fighting type; therefore, Psychic type moves would be super effective on it. It was time for Keiko to do her thing.
Ichiro sent out the small Ralts.
Keiko, I want you to use calm mind three times; then, use Psychic on that Riolu!
The Ralts nodded, before glowing white, and fading, and glowing again, and fading, and glowing a final time, before fading once more. Her Special Attack had been multiplied by a factor of 2.5; the psychic wave of energy that she released hit the little Riolu before he could counter. The small, humanoid canine Pokemon fell to the ground, having fainted from the attack. Ichiro quickly threw his Safari ball and crossed his fingers. Ralts and Magikarp were sent back to their balls. |
