How is it that I've fallen in love with you? How can it hurt this much? Never before have I ever wanted someone this much. If I say I miss you about a thousand times, will it reach you? If I try crying and fussing, will you know my feelings?

It had been a while since Andrea had gone out to the Mega Ruins—she’d decided to wait out the last of the dregs of the cold winter before making an eventual come back; the better to search through the place without having to bundle up like she was going to be stranded on Mount Coronet. The winters were that cold, but I hope spring weather is much warmer than it is... she mused to herself as she then began to pick out what her choice of clothing would be for today’s expedition. She’d already managed to cram the necessities in her back pack; which were a couple of flash lights, some water canteens, and extra sandwiches if in case she got hungry.
She’d also brought along her staff, if in case she needed to poke at something from far away—she already knew what a hazardous place the Ruins could be if she’d triggered any sort of trap wherever she tread. Several minutes later, she’d finally managed to pick out her ‘spring wardrobe’ and tossed on an undershirt, as well as a pair of biker shorts before slipping on her pleated skirt, her stockings; and layering up with a light sunny-colored sweater. She’d leave the scarf behind for today, since it was a nice, balmy morning—and finally wiggled her feet into her knee-high boots, the pair she’d missed wearing ever since winter had struck through the place.
Several hours later, Andrea arrived at the tent city that had been set up outside the Ruins, and bought herself a cup of warm chocolate, which she was now cradling in her left hand—a flash light was out and prepared in her right as she plunged into one of the entrances, hearing the clicking of her boots’ heels as she walked along the musty, damp stone floor.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found Wise Glasses! Looks like another digger lost their glasses in the dig. Lucky you these are just for show, so you can probably sell them off or keep them for yourself to make yourself look smart?

As Andrea began to traverse the long corridor that she was walking through, she thought she could hear the wind whistling from somewhere. Was it just her, or was there a particularly unpleasant draft coming from deeper within the area? She then shrugged as she continued to make her way through the place, slowly but steadily draining the cup of warm chocolate in her hands. It didn’t take too long before she felt her foot sink and hit something, though. That something was rather… undesirable; because the moment her left foot’s heel had landed on it, she heard a cracking noise go off like a gunshot in the silent gloom.
“Oh, scheisse, what’s that supposed to be…” she muttered, quickly walking a few steps forward before turning around en-pointe and then picking out the source of what had caused the rather surprising sound. Upon further inspection, she saw that it was… a pair of glasses. “Oh, no. looks like someone’s been already here,” she said to herself, quickly punting away the broken, trashed frame off to one side before resuming her tread down the corridor, stopping to look briefly in each room that she’d walk by. Most of them had nothing but overturned junk and rubble in it; but she was on the lookout for one of those weird…statues that she’d encounter in the middle, if ever her luck would favor her.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found an INTRIGUING STONE! Not a Mega Stone but it's still a beautiful stone. It can be sold for a high price to a collector.

Andrea was wondering if it was because of the little rock she’d found the last time, that was causing her bad luck to return once more—in full force. Sighing, because she was secretly hoping to be able to find something before the end of the little trip she’d planned, she then shone the flash light around the area, trying to pick out if there was something that was worthy of her attention. She thought she saw something glittering in the next room she’d peeked in, but it turned out to be her flash light’s beam sparkling against something else, so she sighed and moved on.
Don’t tell me, after I found that pair of glasses, things are going to go down and get really ugly now? She mused to herself with a look of concern passing over her face as she then continued to walk around, inadvertently walking past the rock that was glittering on the floor. It definitely wasn’t a marble (it most certainly shared its spherical shape with the marbles that she was so hung over on finding, but it lacked a distinct stripe that designated it as such to be considered as one.
She then began to sigh, before continuing to poke around the rest of the rooms—she didn’t know if she was going to be finding something good or going home with zero once again.

This time, it didn’t take too long before Andrea caught sight of a room at the end of the corridor that she was traversing, and that immediately caught her curiosity. After leaving behind the thing in the dust that she thought she saw while traversing the place, she then picked up the pace, hoping that she would find the room untouched and undisturbed. After all, the signs of human activity I’d encountered earlier was a bit high, so chances of actually finding something that’s not yet been taken is low. I hope there’s something good in this room! She thought to herself as she gripped the flash light a bit harder, feeling the rough plastic scrape and clench against the flesh of her palms.
She then came to a stop at the doorway, before tentatively shining the flash light into the room. Initially, it didn’t catch anything; but she then let out a shriek as the beam of light traveled further up—because she then caught sight of something that was rather horrifying. It looked like a hound of hell; or even worse, she then began to stammer to herself, trying to pick out the name of the three-headed dog that she’d read about in Canalave’s library! “C-C-C-Cer…” she trailed off, before wiggling the beam around in order to catch a full view of the thing that had startled her out of her skin. Now that she’d stepped into the room, the better to see the object up close, she then saw it wasn’t a dog that had three heads; it only had one—but the horns it was packing looked absolutely horrifying.
“Whoa. Scary-ass…” she muttered to herself, before noticing that there was something in its mouth—a marble! It looked like something she’d had before; but she’d given her first copy of it away. Now that she was staring at another one, she then gingerly approached the statue, before plucking the marble out of its open maw. No sooner had she done that did a loud rumbling shake the room. “Oh, scheisse…” she hissed, looking around as she tried to form a quick plan to escape!
