After managing to sneak away from the troupe that had been literally nagging and bothering her for the past few days in order for them to be able to find out just where Rachel had managed to score excellent-tasting food for a fraction of the price they normally paid while staying at the hotel, she’d made it to the train station of Flash and had bought a ticket leading over to Bayonada.
Knowing that the trip might take a while, she then settled in and stood on the station platform, waiting for the express to come in. Once it did, she then found an empty seat and then immediately proceeded to zonk out, catching a bit of shut-eye while the train sped along headed to the city where Sarah said she was waiting.
It felt like an eternity; but sometime later she’d finally arrived in Bayonada, and was…mildly surprised at the weather. She’d left Flash dressed for winter, but as she hopped off the train and took her first breath of Bayonada’s salty air, she then realized that it was a mistake showing up in thick jeans and a jacket! Thankfully she had a thinner shirt on underneath, so she stripped off aforementioned jacket and then tied it around her waist, before fishing her phone out of her pocket and dialing Sarah’s number; the better to be able to contact her.
She then proceeded to punch in the numbers; while hearing a ringing tune on the other line. Come on, girl. Pick up… please pick up, she thought to herself as the ringing persisted; hoping that she wouldn’t be diverted to voice mail!

Sarah watched as her friends played about, squirtle particularly enjoyed being in the water, swimming and playing, she was having a blast while charmander watched a little envious he hated it when she went into the water, it meant he couldn’t protect his little sister and his bestest friend.
Growlithe was chasing after pichu, who had stolen his apple the pup didn’t seemed amused at all, Sarah chuckled as growlithe chased after it “When I gat my paws on you, you’re dead ratface he barked out annoyed while nidoran and rufflet seemed to be enjoying a nice discussion. Sarah had looked over her messages that she had sent Rachel recently inviting the peculiar girl to come train with her and spend some time.
The teenagers phone started to call and she saw it was Rachel “Hey Rachel, how you going hun” she asked, she blinked confused as growlithe was running away from the apple holding pichu that was trying to thunder shock growlithe she shook her head lowering the phone a bit so she could yell “PICHU NO, STOP TRYING TO SHOCK GROWLITHE AND GIVE HIM BACK HIS APPLE, YOU’VE HAD YOURS” she placed the phone back to her ear “sorry about that, Rachel you there hun?” she asked curiously

Thankfully, before the last ring cut off and redirected Rachel to voice mail, she heard the line click, and a familiar voice chirped in from the other end of the line. “Oh, hey there, Sarah. Where are you—“ she began before she heard a rather… interesting conversation echoing from the other end of the line. She then did her best to resist the urge to chuckle to all hell—because she could already imagine the scenario unfolding I her mind’s eye—and even from the sound of Sarah’s voice alone, she knew that the other young lady was pissed off.
She then chuckled as Sarah came back on the line, before managing to reply, “I heard everything… and you’re right, your Pichu’s a psycho,” and then giggling for a few moments. She then proceeded to walk down and out of the Bayonada train station, met by the sudden blast of sunshine and light—who knew that there were actual, existing ‘extremities’ of weather in the Nue region?
“So where exactly can I find you? I’m right at the train station… give me your general location so I can start searching,” she continued; before suddenly getting an idea. “Oh, I know…” she added, searching through her jacket and finally managing to pull out a particular containment unit and tossing it sky-high; before watching the flash of red light transform into her Braviary, Sky.
“Brav?” she heard the avian squawk out after spreading his wings and ruffling his feathers. “Okay, so… let’s look from the air,” she continued, still holding the phone as she proceeded to mount the back side of her Braviary and then took off without further ado. “I think I know how to find you, Sarah!” she shouted as the wind began to pick up.
Post by Sarah Wentworth on Feb 18, 2015 5:18:23 GMT -5
Sarah had heard the question briefly, and smiled hearing Rachel speak and calling her pichu a psycho, she thought for a moment after hearing rachel ask how could she be found. Sarah thought about it a little longer it seemed Rachel had an idea. Sarah could hear the wind turbelance through the phone “look out for a signal you will know it when you see it” Sarah yelled. Before hanging up.
Sarah looked at her pokemon “Squirtle, Charmander…It’s time for you both to help me, Squirtle when I give the word I want you to shoot a hydro pump into the air, charmander I want you to use a fire spin to get your flames circling the water in a rotating pattern okay…GO
Sarah had given the word and squirtle launched a powerful cannon burst of water into the air, and charmander had opened his mouth creating a flame that spun around the water creating a flashy combination mixing two elements that weren’t normally compatable.
Sarah sat down and waited hoping that Rachel would be on the lookout for this signal.

Now that Rachel was sitting astride Sky, her Braviary who was now soaring through the skies above Bayonada she then heard Sarah say something about ‘looking out for a sign’ before the line went dead. No wonder. The wind’s blowing like hella crazy now, she mused to herself as she continued to soar above the beach town. Thankfully, the wind up in the air was refreshing—if somewhat tinged with a bit of salt due to the city’s extremely close proximity to water—and she breathed in all the fresh air that she could.
It didn’t take too long before she thought she saw something in the distance—was that a burst of water shooting up from somewhere? “Sky? Can you… Can you go there?” she shouted over the turbulence, pointing in the direction where the torrent of water that was now going towards the sky was…ringed by a circle of flames?!
Okay, now if that’s the signal, I’d say that’s a very unusual way of achieving it… she thought with a grin as she then felt her avian speed up; heading right towards where the ‘signal’ was coming from. Now that she was much closer, she looked down and saw that there were some figures—and after squinting as much as she could manage, was that a head of blue hair she could pick out?! It was really hard judging distances from this high vantage point. “Alright, Sky, fly down!” she urged, patting the Brav’s back and then feeling the avian start to circle around the unusual signal.
The lower they soared the more and more obvious the view became—it was Sarah, alright. “HEY!” she shouted, while she was still a few storeys up, waving down at the girl on the shore who was surrounded by several Pokémon. As the Braviary came in for a rather rough landing—the after-effect of not having too much practice yet; Rachel felt herself unceremoniously tossed from her perch and landing face-first in the sand.
“Bleah,” she began a few moments later, standing up and shaking the sand out of her clothes, and spitting whatever grit she’d swallowed. “We need to work on your landing, you know,” she began in the Brav’s direction; but nonetheless she approached the avian and gave him a good rubbing down the back of his neck. “You can rest now,” she continued, before turning to see Rachel surrounded by several unfamiliar-looking creatures. “So, this is all of them?” she began, after raising a hand in welcome at the blue-haired gal’s direction.
Post by Sarah Wentworth on Feb 19, 2015 3:37:49 GMT -5
Sarah waited quietly, as the signal went out when the pair needed to rest “good job guys” she spoke with pride. Sarah watched as a braivery swooped down with Rachel on the back, she smiled seeing Rachel, pichu was also happy, the pokemon dropped the apple and ran to Rachel when the braviery made a rough landing pichu started to run away from the two, Sarah laughed at the way pichu ran on all fours the poor rodent was scared. For a moment she stopped and looked on the braviery before pointing and laughing for a moment.
Sarah raised her hand greeting the girl, she got up and nodded her head “yeah, you got to check them out, squirtle and charmander and of course rufflet” just at the mention of rufflet’s name the flying pokemon made it’s way to braviery and affectionately pecked out a loose feather while pichu ran up to the braviery and jumped on it’s back you big bird fly me into the air, my loyal minion the pichu demanded in her pokemon language.
Sarah ignored pichu for the moment, while growlithe was at her side, she “aren’t they adorable, charmander and squirtle I bought them from a pokemon breeder, and they hatched, and I caught rufflet in the wild…their so cute” growlithe yawned, he hoped they weren’t going to get into girl talk and do their nails or worse do his nails.
Growlithe looked over at the pichu and shrugged, as long as the rodent wasn't being a thorn in his backside he was happy to sit back and relax and let the birdbrains deal with the pain in the butt electric pokemon. he watched as pichu kept tapping the braviery on the head and pointing to the sky trying to command it to obey his bidding, he seemed to notice how lazy pichu was, the rodent usually rode on his back and tapped on his head and now pichu was doing it to the bird pokemon.

Due to the rather unceremonious landing she’d suffered after Sky had crashed on the sand, Rachel was now left to dust off as much sand as she could before addressing Sarah’s initial introductions—and she recognized one of them, cracking a smirk at the little chubby-bunny Rufflet that she now saw wandering into view.
“Hah, got inspired by my Braviary I hope?” she began, pointing a thumb over her shoulder and looking at her own Brav, who was now plucking away at some stray feathers that were bothering him. She then noticed that the little lightning mouse was trying to converse with her Brav; to which he let out a derisive caw; and returned to plucking the feathers that were bothering him.
“Heh, whatever your little mouse said, my Brav isn’t having any of it,” she added with a chuckle, before turning to face the other two that her companion had bought from a Breeder. One of them looked very much like a turtle; while the other one was a bipedal…something that had a fire burning from its tail. “So… the Squirtle is this one,” she began, erroneously pointing at the Charmander before continuing, “…and the Charmander is this other one?” she continued, looking at the turtle.
Somehow, in the back of her mind, she had a feeling she was wrong. Rachel definitely had a long way to go in terms of identifying Pokémon; to say the least. “While I’m at it, do you want to see the other ones I currently have? I’m afraid they’re not as glamorous as yours are…” she continued with a sheepish ton in her voice, searching through her pocket and counting the number of containment units that she’d brought with her.
Post by Sarah Wentworth on Feb 20, 2015 18:22:35 GMT -5
Sarah nodded her head “I do have to admit seeing your braviary did inspire me to go out and find a rufflet of my own” she spoke watching braviary pluck at her feathers with her rufflet around it, Sarah watched the creature caw at pichu and pichu climbed up to be on top of the creatures head thumping it with it’s paw don’t you caw at your master, you will obey me and fly me into the sky or else your new god will shock you the pichu threatened.
Rufflet shook it’s head in disapproval, while Sarah nodded her head “yeah pichu has a talent for antagonizing other people…she’s somewhat of a psycho” she spoke nodding her head matter of factly. She had to admit at least to herself, that pichu’s crazy antics did amuse her quite a lot.
Both squirtle and charmander watched the unfamiliar female and looked at each other once Rachel got them confused, the duo was confused and dubious in regards to the female before Sarah could correct her, her pokemon did it for her and spoke out in their pokemon language
Sarah looked at the girl as she said her pokemon wasn’t glamerous “hey you shouldn’t say that about your friends Rachel, it’s an insult…now bring em out so they can play” she nudged her friend. meanwhile pichu seemed determined to concour the creature, she demanded that it obeyed her and continued to pop on the braivery's head trying to get it to fly, squirtle looked at pichu and raised an eyebrow, she wasn't going to get in between that, charmander also took a glance and pitied the bird pokemon.

So yeah, one can say that Rachel isn’t exactly too knowledgeable yet with the many different types of Pokémon that exist; having gotten Charmander and Squirtle mixed up! Thankfully, the two had set off to correct her initial misconception; and she’d picked up on a slight twitch of annoyance coming from the two that made her quirk her brow rather…suspiciously at them. “Well, no need to get mad at me, I’m just new to all this,” she said softly in the Cha’s and Squirtle’s direction, before tentatively reaching out to them and attempting to give them a reassuring pet.
Over at where her Braviary was still plucking the dead feathers from his plumage, he could hear the Pichu prattling on and on about getting him up in the air; and he gave another series of derisive squawks, and if one could understand what they were saying, Sky would’ve been saying this, “Yeah, right. Is that how you ask any Pokémon to do things for you? I’m surprised your owner hasn’t gone crazy on you yet due to your attitude,” before resuming in the grooming of his plumage.
At that little retort, Rachel then looked over at where her Brav was parked; before letting out a muffled giggle of glee. She could pick up the waves of annoyance wafting from her Braviary, and she could only guess that the Pichu was attempting to drive him crazy, too. “I will have to agree with your opinion on the matter, Sarah. Look at what your Pichu is trying to do,” she said, attempting to hide the chuckle and gesturing over to where the little yellow mouse was now hopping around rather angrily.
If only she could understand what the hell they were talking about, then she could offer to be ‘interpreter’, but sadly it wasn’t so. In any case, she then cast a grin over at Sarah, before plucking out several of the containment units she’d brought with her. “This… is the first time I’ve done this, so bear with me,” she continued, popping the balls to full size and then sending out the occupants in a flash of red light. The first one hit the ground—and began to quiver; this one was triangular in shape, and she had no idea if this was male or female. I could swear Blondie could teach me how, but then again… she mused, observing the Snorunt (not that she knew what it was yet) before casting a glance over at the thing that was hovering in mid-air.
This one, as she found out, was a Vespiquen; and a rather haughty-looking one at that. “I have one more, but he’s… a Water-type that doesn’t exactly survive outside a water source of any kind,” she added with a sheepish chuckle, before making her way over to where Sarah stood and showing her the last containment unit; where inside there was a Skrelp who was snoozing away.
Post by Sarah Wentworth on Feb 21, 2015 0:34:34 GMT -5
Squirtle and charmander looked at the human, the only reason squirtle wasn’t hiding behind Sarah was because charmander was right next to her, the two were quick enough to forgive her when she mentioned how new she was to it, Squirtle and charmander both allowed the stranger to pet them squirtle smiled anxiously and then ran to hide behind Sarah “hey squirtle hun, it’s okay Rachel is a friend of mine” she leaned down to pick up the shy baby, and cradled her for a minute “sorry about that squirtle is a little shy” she put squirtle down.
Sarah looked at the pichu as she kept trying to concour the bird pokemon, pichu was starting to get frustrated she kept bopping the pokemon’s head while the bird pokemon squawked pichu rubbed her paws together and began to cackle. Her cheeks begin to set off sparks very well you leave me no choice the pichu spoke Squirtle noticed pichu and ran a little closer, she opened her mouth shooting out a water gun aimed at pichu.
Pichu looked as the surge of water came her way her eyes widen what NOOOOOOOOOOOO she yelled as the water collided and sent her flying off the braivery
Pichu landed on the sand scowling at the squirtle shaking her tiny fist, she ran back towards the company arguing with squirtle BAD MINION BAD she yelled and bopped squirtle on the head, charmander went to pichu and spun his tail to smack pichu across the head.
Sarah watched as a peculiar pokemon came out of rachel’s pokemon, she smiled and looked at Rachel “aww their adorable” she spoke with a smile.

To be fair, the Braviary was getting just a bit annoyed at the Pichu that was now bopping his head as hard as the little Tiny Mouse could manage—what was wrong with this thing anyway; did it have a few screws loose? In response to the way the Pichu was acting, the Brav shuffled around before squawking, “You’re off your rocker. That’s how my Rachel would describe you, you crazy little—“he trailed off; before hearing a sudden ejection of water; and then hearing the Pichu squealing as it was knocked off his back.
The Brav was surprised at the sudden turn of events; before turning around to face the Squirtle and then nodding in the Tiny Turtle’s direction. “Thanks, little guy. I owe you one,” he squawked in his language; but of course to the two humans, it was just a crazy exchange of Pokémon cries that they could only guess.
Rachel picked up a twinge of relief coming from her Braviary; before turning over to face where Sarah was now chuckling at the little interaction. “Heh, I can tell you that my Brav is relieved that he’s not listening to the little tyrant anymore,” she began with another chuckle; before watching the Petilil suddenly spread herself out on the grass; in an attempt to get some sunshine.
“Heh, look at ‘Shine, she’s literally unwinding,” she continued, gesturing to the now-sunbathing Petilil who wasn’t going to be having any of the noise that the rest were causing. She could feel that the Squirtle was being shy; and then nodded sagely before continuing, “Let me guess, Squirtle there isn’t used to you quite yet, huh?” before looking over to where the Squirtle and the Brav were now interacting. It was at this point she got an idea—before she walked across the sand and scooped up the trembling little triangular Pokémon in her hands.
“Have you seen this little one anywhere on your journey? I just found him…or her, I really have no idea how to tell their genders apart with just one glance—sometime after Christmas, and ever since, this little one didn’t want to leave my side. You know what they’re called?” she inquired; hoping that Sarah had the answer. Over at where her other Pokémon were, the Vespiquen was now flitting lazily through the air; hovering above the Petilil.

Pichu had watched as charmander ran to squirtle’s aid, he wouldn’t understand that this is a chick thing you stupid turtle, I am trying to tame my newest minion, with this giant bird I will be able to fly over cities and shock anyone I want from above the pichu explaned before getting frustrated. She returned to Sarah and climbed up onto the blue headed girl’s shoulder folding her arms she was annoyed.
Squirtle petted the braviery and sighed, it was true pichu was a psychopath, but sadly she was their problem. Sarah petted the pichu’s head for a moment and pichu grumbled bitterly disappointed, “I can get where brave is coming from, pichu’s a little dictator” she responded petting pichu’s head pichu pushed away Sarah’s hand Infidels, you dare speak so poorly of your master, I shall make you all suffershe spoke outraged.
Sarah looked at the petlili seemed to be spreading herself out on the grass enjoying the sunshine. She smiled “yeah she seems to be enjoying herself, yeah squirtle is quite shy. “yeah she’s really shy around people, she might just grow out of it, hmm as for your mystery pokemon it’s a snorunt, an ice type pokemon. I’ve encountered a few back in unova when I was training in the arctic.” she responded with a smile looking at snorunt

At the ‘dictator’ comment, Rachel had burst out into another fit of laughter; before watching as the Pichu then swatted Sarah’s hand away! She wasn’t sure if the annoyed twitch she was picking up on was wafting from the Pichu or from her Braviary, but one thing remained; and that was the fact that the little yellow mouse was someone that was definitely not to be messed with!
“Ohh, so that’s what this one’s called,” she began, finally flipping the Snorunt around and examining the little one in a new light. “She keeps shaking. Is this a normal thing or no?” she inquired; because she’d always been bothered by the Snorunt’s quivering—why did it keep trembling even if there was no danger around?
“Now my only problem is to figure out of this Snorunt is a guy or a lady,” she added with a chuckle; before hefting the Snorunt up in her hands for a better look. She wasn’t picking up any odd, strange or weird ‘emotional vibrations’ coming from the triangular being; so the shaking had to be caused by something else entirely! Over at where her Pokémon were now lounging about, the Brav then gave another few indignant squawks in the Pichu’s direction, which would be translated to this, “Keep dreaming, runt. Your blue-haired girlie over there is your boss, so at the end of the day, you still answer to her either way,” before sassing the little Pichu with a wing-flapping gesture.
The Vespiquen could only chuckle derisively in the Pichu’s direction, before buzzing in her sibilant voice, “He’s right, you know. Sky is absolutely right. You’re a tyrant. I can only guess how everyone else puts up with you,” before buzzing in laughter. Of course, to the humans, it was nothing but an exchange of Pokémon cries; how Rachel longed to be able to understand what they were talking about! The best she could go on with was their emotional states, though; but even then she’d be bound to get the guesses wrong.
Post by Sarah Wentworth on Feb 24, 2015 6:23:51 GMT -5
Pichu glared at the infidels humiliating her, they dared to question her greatness, they had no idea who they were dealing with, she was going to teach them all a lesson she just needed to pick her target first.
Sarah nodded her head ‘I’m sory all I know Is it’s name and ice type, from what I could see the snorunts I’ve encountered weren’t shivering, they were in their natural climants…but this snorunt hmm it could be it has some sort of fevor from not being used to this climate…if I was you I would recall snorunt into it’s pokeball for now and check out a pokemon center maybe research snorunt on the internet” she offered the newbie.
Pichu watched the contemptuous birdbrain squawk and speak “You know not your place, I am your master and you shall obey me, I am no one’s sevent no one, she may think I obay her, but really she obeys me just as you shall she spoke waving her tiny paw at the bird pokemon
Squirtle and charmander shook their heads, although the pair were infants they had already learned arguing with pichu is a waste of time, just let the little tyrant think she is in charge just for peace and quiet, were their philosophy. Pichu looked at the vespiquen chuckle, raising an eyebrow the pichu could hear the buzzing of laughter as the pichu pounced the bug pokemon and stayed on top of it’s head “Minion you will not speak to your queen like that, now obey me and subdue the bird brain she yelled.
Sarah watched pichu, she was a lively pokemon, she wondered what the pokemon were talking about amongst each other, for that she had no clue she could only assume they were all getting along Sarah crouched down to snorunts level “is this atmosphere too hot for you” she asked the pokemon, if it was she already had a way to fix it.

“Eh, it’s all good. As long as you helped me identify what it was; I can work off from there… and now that you mention it… I might as well do that, to be on the safe side,” she remarked, before quickly searching through her pocket for the shrunken-down containment units and finding the one for the little Snorunt who was now quivering to all hell.
She was in the middle of popping the containment unit back to its normal size when the blue-haired individual approached the Snorunt, and then quivered; before raising one of its tiny, stubby limbs in greeting. “Snooooo. Snorunt, snooooo,” it cooed; just basically trying to say ‘hello’ to her, if one could understand PokeSpeak at all!
Over at where the Vespiquen and the Braviary were now trying their darndest hardest not to mock the little Pichu who was now screeching their way about how much of a tyrant the Pichu was (and was therefore in a state of total denial) before seeing that the Charmander and Squirtle were shaking their heads, as if saying ‘why bother’ and then chuckling their way.
The little mouse then proceeded to hop onto the Vepsiquen’s forehead; to which the Regal female Pokémon responded with an angry sibilant buzzing noise; before retorting back, “I seriously worry for your caretaker’s state of mental health. You aren’t the boss of me, Rachel over there is,” with a sibilant displeased buzzing noise coming from her lips.
The Brav could only shake his head as well at the little exchange; and then let out another few derisive squawks in response to this, “Don’t listen to that one, girl. Y’know that only Rachel can ask us what to do for her,” before proceeding to pluck out at some of his other ruffled feathers. The sounds of agitated PokeSpeak coming from the direction of where the ‘mons were lounging made Rachel look over at where they were; before smirking in the Vespiquen’s direction—she could tell that the flying queen was not pleased with the way the Pichu was acting.
“My Queen isn’t amused at your little tyrant,” she chuckled in Sarah’s direction, before pointing a thumb to where the little scene was unfolding at the moment.
