Dayton's eyes wandered, almost soulless, over the snow covered building on the outskirts of Iceburgh. The old building stood as a testament to how humans could just abandon hopes and dreams, or how they could just forget about other humans who weren't as fortunate as they were.
He sneered and scoffed in disgust at the thought of how people could be and picked his head up, wandering towards it, noticing that Adramalech, his Duskull was beginning to drift over there, probably noting another ghost type. Desdemona let out a elongated yawn as the blind Deino followed Dayton, her jaws on his cloak and earning a smile from her master, even though she can't see it, but could feel his emotion pitch another direction, as she bounced through the snow.
It seemed like a small little out-setting that nomads would have built. Or maybe colonist who moved to Iceburgh. It didn't matter because his mind started to push him into another one of his delusions. The trees twisted and morphed into dead, wilted, and... corpse covered trees. Dayton covered his eyes and shook his head. Everything was turning red and he had to stop and sit down. Even with his eyes closed, monsters crawled over to him and there was, of course, one of his greatest fears, a Hypno crawling with them. Hideously twisted into some kind of Zombie state. "Dayton... why w.. won't you play with... with us?" He turned his head away some more, but couldn't get rid of the oncoming monsters. He screamed and kicked backwards, crawling away from them. His Pokemon looked at him strangely, unaffected by his delusion and only appearing as white, glowing shapes.
"NO! GET AWAY FROM ME! DON'T YOU FUCKING TOUCH ME YOU UNSHAPELY BEASTS! GET AWAY! GO! GO! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" Where was Daxton when you needed him? He needed his brother to bring him back down to earth, cause now that Hypno was crawling on top of him and this delusion seemed to feel even more realistic to him. He thrashed and flailed more until it all started to turn back to normal and he noticed that his two, now three Pokemon were floating and standing next to him
"I..... I'm sorry... Let's get back to what we were doing." He told them, standing back up and allowing Desdemona to bite back onto his cloak and for Atitaxe to rest on his shoulder while Adramalech took the lead towards the old places.
(DISCLAIMER! Not catching anything! 4 spawns, all of them are Daytons! Im just here to get these two talking!)
With a tape recorder in one hand, and one hand on the back of his dragonite, Mao flew straight through the cold skies above iceburgh, using his scales for a grip and indicating slight manuvers for him to make with specific taps of his four fingers, speaking into the recorder as they met a calm part of the sky. "Test flight 4 is a success. Karlek had learned to respond to all of my signals." The Dragon growled as he realized he was being talked about like some sort of machine, knowing full well he couldn't retaliate, put he could definately put up a fuss. Mao paused his recorder and lightly scraped his fingers along the dragon's scales. "We need to do this, or we can't be efficient. You and I both know our first flight was a disaster, don't you think you've gotten better?" Karlek simply rolled his eyes, following the next indication of his trainer's hands to come to the ground, his large wings flapping slowly to make sure they got a gentle, soft landing, Mao hopping off into the snow, ensuring his coat was zipped all the way up before patting Karlek on the arm, the signal for the black dragon to take to the skies once more. "Have fun up there."
Rotating his shoulder as he stretched out from the long flight, Mao began walking through the old wooden "ruins" of iceburgh, the old homes that were either burned, never finished, or both. A mix of peoples lives displayed as nothing more than decrepit ruins of times gone by now. A sad view Mao had always held on old architecture. To think there was once someone who made all of this...and their legacy was left behind in the crumbling walls...
"What a pity."
Breathing misty breaths as his hot puffs met with the freezing air, Mao came to a sudden halt as he heard the sound of footsteps in the snow, following the path to find a silver haired man in his pokemon, nearly having a heart attack as he wondered if there was a possibility that this man had noticed Karlek...but then again, what did it matter? He had taken covers to make sure Karlek was seperate from "Galahad" anyhow...Still. It was curious as to why any trainer would venture this far into the cold.
"Good sir!" Walking over and waving a hand to get his attention in the light fog of the snow, Mao gave his best "friendly stranger" smile as he made his way over. "Might you be lost? You're a fair ways out from iceburgh"
The man heard someone talking to him? Just as soon as he was tucking his bottle of medicine away in his pocket, taking the pill that he never really wanted to take in the first place. Might you be lost? Hmph, a pathetic assumption and an annoying inconvenience. With his usual expression, he turned to face the other man. Eyebrows slightly furrowed and eyes focused on the person approaching, he frowned and shook his head.
"No. I'm not lost." For Giratina sakes, I live in the fucking city. He glared a little harder and looked down to the Deino sniffing the air. Well, he'd cut him a little slack, they didn't know each other to begin with. "I live around here anyways... why are you out here?"
It was a legitimate question, not just anybody comes out to the middle of a frozen wasteland just to view old buildings... unless they too were looking for a ghost type to call their own. He was just out roaming to get some fresh air... sooooooo... He couldn't growl at the man approaching.
Ah. A local. That would certainly explain it. As for Mao himself he had actually ventured out here under the rumors that ghost type pokemon may inhabit this area, a type he certainly needed more of among his personal black knights, and while it would be easy enough for him to tell this silver haired man that out right, he had a clever little lie, and as usual, it involved his job.
"Oh if you are a local I won't intend to bother you then. I myself hail from Tynntill town." He gave a gentle bow of his head as he began to introduce himself, his hands kept warm in the pockets of his coat. "Mao Valliere. A pleasure to meet you. The Museum I work for was hoping to make an exhibit on the people who settled here and the events that supposedly drove them away in the past, so I was just here to make a personal effort to research it up close and personal."
With an inability to use his stronger pokemon, as he worried they would be what indicates who he is should any one see both End and himself using them, he thought of a small idea to ensure he had protection in this frozen hunt. "You're a local, perhaps you wouldn't mind guiding me? I would hardly want to be crushed under any of the decaying structures afterall."
A local. He'd hardly ever consider this shit place any sort of place that he could live at at all. It was probably one of the shittiest places anyone could ever choose to live and that is why him and his brother were moving the hell out and leaving that hell hole of a frozen wasteland. Dayton raised an eyebrow and looked the man over. He was definitely a whole lot stronger than he was, probably on par with his intelligence too. He looked too smart to just walk up to him for no reason? Dayton's paranoia gnawed at the back of his neck as he eyed the other man, analyzing just as he analyzed anybody else that approached him. "Sure. I can lead you around the ruins, I suppose." He turned and began to walk towards the ruins, eyes looking over everything, not jumping when a beam fell in the snow, but frowning deeper at it and giving it a glare.
Atitaxe decided to float over to that building and phase through the structures, disappearing completely.
"Where the hell did... .... .... he has to come back eventually." He stated in a near mumble, stopping to look over at the building that his Phantump just took liberty of sliding through.
Dayton immediately prepped his self, putting his feet shoulder width apart and letting his three Pokemon gather next to him. The Duskull at his head and the Deino at his feet seemed much more ready than the little Phantump next to his hand. Dayton snapped his fingers and pointed over to a Honedge and a Duoblade floating next to each other. It wasn't long before Adramalech was approaching them fearlessly with a Shadowball in his arms and already lobbing it towards the stronger opponent. "Good Job Adramalech. Hit that Honedge with Ominous Wind before it has a chance to retaliate for his friend. Atitaxe, go tackle that pair over there." He motioned his Phantump to go over to a Honedge and a Duoblade pair floating around. He faded in with a Feint attack to the Duoblade then sent a wave of malevolent energy to the Honedge, striking it back some with a Phantom Force. "Alright now Desdemona. You take the last two Duoblade. I got faith in you." He spoke to the Deino right before she charged in with her head down, opening her mouth and biting the first thing she could get her maw on, using a crunch before she was thrown. "Dragon Rush on the other Duoblade!" She shook off the throw and got to her feet, running towards where she heard the other sword, headbutting it as hard as she could, surrounded by some strange force that dignified it as a Dragon Rush.
Adramalech had already risen up some during his fight and watched as the Honedge and the Duoblade got back up, angrily. The Honedge struck out first, coming up behind the Duskull in a shadow and striking him with a Shadow Sneak, knocking him to the ground for the Duoblade to have at. But, Adramalech was able to recover quickly enough to dodge the Night Slash that came at him. "Adramalech! Use Confuse Ray on the Honedge and Blind the Duoblade with Will-O-Wisp! Get some distance!" The commands did as they should. The Honedge was suddenly dazed looking and the Duoblade was suffering burns thanks to the small, ghost-like wisps that Adramalech had thrown in his face. For those two, Dayton went ahead and threw two Balls at them, an Ultra ball at the Duoblade and a Pokeball at the Honedge. Trying to get those out of the way for his Duskull before he took another big hit.
Atitaxe was already a skittish Pokemon, but this battle had him starting to perk up a little bit. Until a Honedge hit him with Shadow Sneak and the Duoblade followed up with Aerial Ace. The Phantump cried out in pain and looked to Dayton as a cry for help. "Atitaxe! Get up! Repeat the last thing, mix it up though!" Instead of Feint Attack on the Duoblade, he appeared behind the Honedge and used it on it instead, turning to the Duoblade and throwing a Phantom Force to the other Pokemon, all three looking weakened. A little more urgent than his Duskull, he threw an ultra ball and a Pokeball at the Honedge and Duoblade, biting his lip and turning to look at his blind dinosaur, running around and biting at the blade Pokemon.
Luckily, Desdemona had a lot of fire in her and was running around, crunching on the duoblade here and there when she could get a hold of them, only occasionally being hit with a Shadow Sneak or a Iron head. Some kind of attack coming from the flustered Swords. Smiling, he looked up to the sky, taking a deep breath. Hopefully, she would listen while this riled up. "Desdemona! Dragon Rush!" She stopped in her tracks and charged with her head down, hitting whatever she was facing which was a Duoblade. "Do it again!" She skidded to a halt on her butt and listened for the other Duoblade, charging in to use a Dragon Rush, hitting it.... and the wall behind it. "Crunch it while you're there!" She was happy to comply, biting down and shaking her head while clamped onto it, like a dog. Pulling his arm back for a couple more throws, he threw two ultra balls at the Duoblade, watching all the attempted captures rock on the ground around them while his Pokemon took breathers, trying to recoup some.
