elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.
EPOCH is PG-13. Proboards’ Terms of Service:
Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.
Jax stood tall on top of a hill with his Emolga sitting high on his shoulders. The grasslands stretched out in front of him with the sun at high noon. Fallen columns dotted the landscape and so did several wild Pokemon bounding above the tall grass. Smiling at Gigawatt, Jax took a step forward and began to walk towards the center of the fields. He was here for the thrill of digging and the thrill of training his pokemon.
With a confident stance, he stepped forward, and climbed up next to anpillar, observing the intricate markings that covered it's sides, even time couldn't weather these great beasts. His Emolga hopped down to his feet and started digging at them with enthusiasm, catchin Jax's attention effectively."Gigawatt, what are you doing down there?" -molga!- was all he got in response, this pokemon could be confusing sometimes. Jax didn't mind though, it kept him on his toes.

Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found RELIC CROWN! A crown made in a civilization about 3,000 years ago. A maniac will buy it for a high price.
Gigawatt jumped into Jax's arms and presented a old relic to him. But no, he wasn't interested in a relic, not at all. "Good try Gigawatt, but this isn't quite something I would take home." He stated gently, putting it down and giving him a reassuring pat between the ears. Now it was Sparky's turn.
He lifted the ball up and tossed it into the air, letting out the specially colored electrike. Sparky stood up straight after running several circles around his master and Gigawatt. His sniffed the air and darted off towards the area between four pillars, digging ferociously. Jax blinked some and smiled at the enthusiasm. "What did you sniff out big guy?" He questioned, running to his electrike side.
The blue pokemon was already waist deep into the ground, diving rather rapidly. Jax was getting worried he might hit a tunnel or someyhing, but he let him continue to dig and just stayed very close to him.
He smiled and picked up Sparky, plucking the stone from his mouth. He observed it closely, looking it over. Blazikenite? Yes it was, he has seen this before and knew exactly what it was now that he got a good look. He had no interest in the Pokemon that it corresponded to, but kept it anyways, never knowing when someone might be looking for one. He stuffed it in his pocket and looked around some.
"I think we should head back, maybe look for some electric buddies on the way out. There could be anything in this grass." He spoke, placing Sparky back at his feet and taking a step forward. Gigawatt flew into the air and started circling around him, making chattering noises.
He looked down to Sparky, who was wiggling his tail and walking with his nose seemingly glued to the ground, sniffing curiously. "Hey buddy, keep doing that and you're gonna suck in enough dirt to develop a ground type trait." He joked, growing quiet when he perked his head. Barking. "TRIKE!!"
Sparky jumped back while barking at the Blitzle, bumping into Jax and made him nearly fall over. "Whoa! Sparky!" He hopped back some and regained his balance, staring at the Blitzle. The Pokemon made eye contact with Jax, pawing the ground and getting into a stance, his knees bent. Fire engulfed the Pokemon and it tried charging at them. Jax had to jump out of the way and turned around to face the Pokemon again. "Sparky! Wild Charge!" He commanded his Electrike, watching the Pokemon charge out from behind him, pushing his legs to gain as much speed as possible before he hit the Blitzle in the chest, knocking it back some. The wild Blitzle shook it's head some and charged up an attack, releasing an electrical pulse towards Sparky, hitting him with an effective discharge. "Sparky! Howl!" Jax stared at his Electrike, watching him throw his head back and let out a howl that sounded a lot like an angry roar. Sparky re-focused on the Blitzle and set his self into a running position, eying the Blitzle as it became a blur, using agility. "Go ahead and run up to it, try to bite it!" The Electrike kicked off of the ground, running as fast as it's legs could push it, when he tried to bite the wild Blitzle, it moved out of the way and he only got a small bite on its hind legs, making Sparky skid across the grass on his side. Jax pulled out a Pokeball though an threw it as hard as he could, luckily hitting the Blitzle before it could focus on him and try to move out of the way.
Nope! The Blitzle bounced out of the ball and knocked it back towards Jax, nailing him between the eyes. "Ow!... that... Really kind of hurt.." It didn't hurt as much as some things he's felt, so he shook it off easily, turning his attention back to the Blitzle. The Pokemon was engulfing itself again with fire and took another charge at Sparky, knocking him across the field once again. His Electrike laid there some, breathing heavily before standing back up. "Bite!" Jax wasted no time commanding, he was very worried for his Electrike's condition, and he didn't think he could push him anymore after that. Sparky charged forward, biting onto the Blitzle's back, and after a couple of bucks, finally got thrown off and hit the ground. He went ahead and brought the Pokemon back into is ball before throwing out Photon. The small Pichu looked really frustrated at Jax but then noticed the weakening Blitzle. "Thunder shock, Photon!" He used one more attack, watching it land on the Blitzle before throwing the ball back at the Pokemon. He rubbed the spot where it hit him some after the Pokemon was withdrawn into the ball, watching and waiting.
