The room where Rachel was currently trapped in had just the dais (where she was now hanging on to for dear life) left; it was the apparent center of a room that had a bubbling pit of foul, purplish-black goo that smelled to high heavens. As if that wasn’t enough, a loud rumbling was now shaking through the room; and anything that was rumbling was never a good sign. “Oh, crap… don’t tell me…” she muttered, quickly rummaging through her person and finding just the containment unit she needed. As she tossed it sky high, and its occupant revealed itself in a flash of red light, she then whistled as sharply as she could manage. “Sky! Let’s get out of here! I know this is purely experimental, but… let me on your back!” she shouted; and the Braviary’s initial reaction was to squawk rather loudly, due to the stench that was wafting up.
The room shook worse than ever, and she shrieked—because the dais was slowly sinking into the pit! “NOW!” she screeched, and the avian veered in as close as he could manage, before she jumped off and hopped astride his back. The avian’s weight dipped down ever so slightly, but with some nudging and urging, the Braviary flew up as fast as he could manage. It was none too soon, because right at the moment Rachel had cleared the seemingly open ceiling, sharp spikes that had been imbibed with the evil puddle of goo shot up from underneath the liquid, crumbling the room to ruin. “Merde, way too close for comfort,” she hissed as the Braviary took to the sky—who knew that they were exploring one of the lower areas of the Ruins? As the two flew above, she finally saw the extent of the Tuins—spreading as far as the eye could see.
“Reminds me of that place I read about to prepare for my role as Kim…” she muttered as she then patted her Braviary’s back, urging him to fly a little lower, as they’d seen a tower that didn’t look too old, too gnarly—or too crumbly. Once they’d alighted several minutes later, she then gave the Braviary a feather tickle, before quickly recalling him back with the press of a button. “Alright… time to continue this harebrained journey,” she continued, shaking herself down and heading over to where the entrance that led down from the tower was located.

Now that she was walking across the short expanse of rooftop that led to the entrance that wasn’t too far away, she then felt her foot step on something. Wondering what it was that her foot had unceremoniously landed on; she looked down—and then let out a scream so loud it almost pierced the heavens. Well, not really pierced the heavens, but one understood the point. If there was something Rachel was secretly afraid of, it was bones. Animal bones were fine and dandy. It was just that… human bones really tended to freak her out all the time.
Now I think I know why I didn’t join the troupe when they did Hamlet and all the other horror-filled revivals… she thought to herself, cringing at the horrifying mental image that had decided to unveil and show itself in her mind’s eye. That sent her shivering, before she shook her head to erase the aforementioned image and stole a glance—it was still fucking there!
She then looked down at it once again and flinched; for it was a human skull—because seriously, would animal skulls look like that?! Shaking her head, she then quickly made a mad dash off the rooftop and flung herself into the inky blackness, down, down, down the spiraling staircase and hoping that she didn’t encounter anything that qualified as absolutely scary. No, no, no, most definitely not! She continued to shriek in her mind; feeling the panic bubble and rise up like bile.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found INTRIGUING STONE! Not a Mega Stone but it's still a beautiful stone. It can be sold for a high price to a collector.

As Rachel’s adrenaline-fueled dash down the inky blackness of the tower continued, she just leapt and hopped over wherever she was running—because honestly she was literally flying blind! She didn’t want to see the whitewashed skull staring back at her—even if she’d already left it behind at the rooftop—and was sailing through the darkness when her foot landed on something, causing her to literally fly into the air and making her scream out loud! “Oh, merde!” she screeched, the sound trailing off as she felt her body cutting through the air; and she then raised up her arms in a deliberate shield; the better to protect herself from crashing down hard upon impact.
She was literally airborne for who-knew-what-time, but the moment she fell down hard upon landing, she felt the pain jar through her entire body once again. “Ugh… I hate it when adrenaline takes over completely…” she began with a groan, trying to pull herself up from the musty floor. A few seconds later, though, the pain that heaved through her was too much, so she then forced herself to crawl along the floor—why was she sore all over? “I swear… never running through tall, dark towers…again,” she muttered, still inching across the dimly-illuminated, damp stretch of floor that she’d fallen down on, trying to rest and recover her strength. Hoo boy, if Blondie was here he’d most definitely laugh his ass off at me first before trying to help me up… she thought to herself, shaking her head in order to clear it of the woozy sensation that was racing through her.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found RELIC CROWN! A crown made in a civilization about 3,000 years ago. A maniac will buy it for a high price. Guess who it belonged to?

Rachel was still crawling on the musty, damp ground (as the pain had temporarily rendered her unable to stand up at all), still cursing herself about taking that sudden flight down the stairs and not checking where she was going. Absolutely and completely disastrous, if I may recount… she mused to herself as she continued to heave her body forward, inching ever so slightly with the help of her arms vaulting the way. She then tried to stand up again, but waves of pain continued to course through her system, which then made her decide to stay grounded, quite literally, on the cold, damp floor.
Just when things were starting to look up for her at least, she then felt her elbow hit something, and that caused her to flinch in pain yet again.
Wondering just what the hell she’d hit, she then looked around and caught sight of something—gray. It was made of rock; but it was definitely something that she’d never seen—and unfortunately didn’t have any interest in claiming it. “Ugh, ow…” she hissed as she continued to skid forward, propelled on by the strength in her arms. There was no way in hell she was going to risk getting up again—at least until she got to a place where she could rummage around and ask her chubby-bunny Sky to come out and fly her home. Hopefully the Braviary could hoist her up on his back when the time came…
OTL I hope the body pains was worth this stab in the dark

Her body was still wracked with pain, but however much it hurt, Rachel forced herself to stand—because crawling all over the place was getting to her at this point. Not to mention I’m starting to smell rather musty myself… she thought, while a groan escaped her lips as she heaved and finally managed to stand up some minutes later. Her body definitely needed a warm bath to get rid of all the aching pains and sores she’d acquired while running down that dark, dank, tight spiral staircase and eventually coming to a rather unceremonious crash-landing some moments later. “Urrrrgh,” she continued to hiss as she dragged herself forward; gritting her teeth at the pain that was heaving through her right now.
Several minutes of slow walking later, she then caught sight of something—and then knew that it was most definitely not her day at all. “That sucks,” she said simply, glowering at the rock crown. Had she gone the wrong way? Or did she just go around in circles? Either way, she was stuck with this weird thing; there was nothing else to it. She then attempted to aim a kick at it, but ended up stubbing her toe instead, that caused her to hop up and down out of surprise. “Gah, stupid thing…” she hissed, bending over to pick it up. she then wrapped her arms gingerly around it; before continuing to heave her way slowly through the place, finally reaching the exit several hours later.
