TEAM MAGMA BASE
Sometimes, you get the best light from a burning bridge.
WHERE YOU CAN FIND US
The base is nestled in, around and near a Volcano in the wilds of Nue. It's difficult to reach location near the center of the mountains making it to where anyone who would stumble across the base, would probably be too fatigued to do anything about it, besides observe that it looks like someone decided to set up a science lab there.
The base is a variety of different settings and a variety of different dangers. While the Volcano is not one of Nue's active ones, deep inside of it's Caldera, lava still boils and leaks up into some of the Caverns, only to lead it's own way back into the Mantle of the earth.
One of the well known locations is the main center, found inside of the caverns. Rooms expand to the ceiling with large steel beams, cave columns and large bracing beams lined across the top. There are a few seats within this cavern, but it mainly leads as a gate way into smaller, more set spaces inside of the Volcano that act as rooms. All of the rooms run a little along the outside of the Volcano, allowing proper ventilation of the rooms. Trees provide natural camouflage to help hide the windows and walkways of the base. To prevent any structural compensation of the Volcanoes natural build, this is the only building found inside of the Volcano and it's natural caves.
There is a much deeper tunnel that will take you far underground. There can be found a large, cavernous room with a lava pit in the center that is commonly used as training grounds for members of team magma with much more resilient Pokemon.
The boss's room can be found on ground level inside the volcano. It can be found by following a lava lined tunnel and geothermal lines. In the back of this cavern is the boss's quarters.
Outside of the base and around the Volcano is a heavily forested area. Pathways have been cut through the undergrowth and paved, leading from the entrance of the Volcanic base to the entrance of the Science labs. Several lakes can be found a couple miles out from the base, allowing any grunts, tha for some reason, have a water type Pokemon and wish to train it in it's own environment.

STAFFED BY
Daxton Amari Raymer
Daxton is the brutal yet caring leader of Team Magma. He rose to power due to being one of the very few willing to come back to Team Magma after their disbanding and the death of their leader, Maxie. His strong will is be-fitting of his team of Steel type Pokemon and helps drive him to expanding Team Magma into a much greater power than it's currently standing at.While his dreams of what he can do with Team Magma differ from Maxie's, they're different in the sense that they're not as cold and thoughtless as his were. While he does seek to find Groudon, he does in the sense that he can create smaller land masses. He does not wish to expand the land by a grand percentage and primarily aims towards expanding living conditions for humanity by using science to adapt mankind and it's constructs to live in places that they would never dream they could, no matter how many people he has to knock down to get to it.
His team always consist of the same five Pokemon, Lucario, Metagross, Steelix, Bastiodon and a Magneton that he still considers evolving. Most of the time, his sixth spot will be taken up by his trusted, non-steel type Camerupt almost all of the time.
He is a tall male, Standing 6"2 and weighing in at around 180 lbs. His scarred body is a reminder of the fights he's been through and help him stand a bit taller when things start to weigh down on him.
When threatened or when his team is threatened, Daxton will stop at nothing to either chase off or destroy his attacker. His team is also trained to take on the attacker or the attackers Pokemon without Daxton commanding which moves to make.
Daxton's room is located in a room at ground level within the volcano. He shares it with his twin brother Dayton.
Dayton Anahi Raymer
Dayton is usually found by Daxton's side, like an attachment to his hip. He is occasionally left in charge of the base for a while when Daxton has to leave in the case of an emergency. While his Pokemon may only consist of a small Phantump and Duskull right now, it's Dayton's physical strength that could be best used to defend the base.He may not be a part of Team Magma, but he is found around the base, so they consider him like he's a part of the team. Even though his goals are profoundly different then the rest of theirs.
He wishes to one day, obliterate his enemies and bring mankind down to their knees. It is true that he realizes that this may never happens, so he created another goal in life as a contingency plan in case he is to fail. It's a lot more gentle then what he currently has in mind. Since he feels he can relate to Ghost type Pokemon, he wants to find a secluded place where he can heal and help ghost type Pokemon. That is why he can be seen around Team Magma's base checking the crevices for ghost type Pokemon that may be in hiding. As well as commonly being seen patching up a hurt Sableye.
He's 6"2 much like his twin brother Daxton but only weighs 175 lbs. He isn't as scarred as his brother, but his mental scars run much deeper than even the ones on Daxton, making him volatile from time to time. But his insanity is kept in check thanks to Daxton and the medications Daxton leaves him whenever he has to leave in such situations.

SPAWN LIST
The following spawn list is for Magma NPCs.There are two types of grunts available: Low Ranking and High Ranking.
These grunts can have anywhere from 1 to 4 Pokemon.
Low Ranking grunts could carry the following Pokemon:
Numel
Poochyena
Zubat
Rhyhorn
Gastly
Abra
Taillow
Spearow
Pidgey
Sandshrew
Hippopotas
Aron
Zangoose
High Ranking grunts could carry these, with modifications to the evolutionary line as needed to present a fair challenge:
Camerupt
Mightyena
Golbat
Sandslash
Lairon
Rhydon
Hippowdon
Haunter
Pidgeot
Swellow
Fearow
Kadabra
To determine whether or not the grunt is Low Ranking or High Ranking, and then determine their team, use this system.
1. Use the True Random Number Generator on www.random.org/
2. RNG between values 1-2. If 1, Low Ranking. If 2, High Ranking.
3. RNG between values 2-6. This value determines the number of Pokemon they have.
4. RNG to determine the Pokemon in question.
5. RNG the movesets and abilities. Low Ranking have movesets from levels 1-30 and High Ranking have movesets from levels 1-55.
6. Post up the Pokemon in the order rolled and have the poster battle it out with the grunt.
BASE LAYOUT
Picture above is a diagram of the volcanic section of the base. Each level is a walk way that has one or two rooms along them that can house up to three grunts in their room. The rooms are a suite like set up, having three rooms branching off of one main room. These rooms all have windows for adequate ventilation, and if the grunt feels the need to do so, they can set up a AC unit fit for the room's size in that window. In the center of the room, where all the levels can see from the walk way, is a massive meeting area. Banners containing the rules of Team Magma hang, three each, along the walls of this spacious cavern. When needed, Daxton will call all of his team to the safety of this area inside the Volcano for a meeting, what the meeting is for, that doesn't matter.
A cavernous opening on ht floor, in the corner of the fourth level is a passage way that when followed in a straight line downwards, will lead you to the boss's room. If you take a right and follow the spiraled cavern down to the bottom, you'll find Cavern A, which is used for a training area. There's another tunnel as well, which just leads you to a small room that can be used to take a break from training if you don't feel like walking all the way back up the tunnels.
SCIENTIFIC COMPLEX
There is a scientific complex based a mile away from the volcano itself. Several branches build off of it including a housing complex for some people who do not wish to live in the volcano. The scientific complex is used for analysis of minerals, liquids, gases and many other geological effecting factors.
Wing one of the complex is where the housing sector is for people who don't particularly wish to house themselves within the volcanic walls. This wing is connected by a 25 meter passage way. Caution though, as there are usually grunts in that section, whether doing private work or taking a break, they're always prepared for a battle. Grunts in this area are more than likely going to be found resting or sitting among each other in either their rooms or somewhere outside of them.
RESEARCH WINGS
- Wing two: This is where a majority of the gaseous research takes place within the head quarters. It's not as busy or as important as anything else, but it was certainly important whenever they collected a gas from a newly discovered area of volcanic activity. It's then brought to this wing to help determine how safe it would be to adventure that area, and any extra precautions that need to be had when adventuring.
- Wing Three: This is where all of the Zoological research takes place. Pokemon from other regions and environments are brought in to be studied. Their danger to humans, other Pokemon, their size and their weight among many other factors are researched and recorded here. The grunts of this wing are more than likely gonna be stronger and more volatile than most due to their having to deal with multiple and large varieties of Pokemon species.
- Wing Four: This is where Seismic research takes place. Stone samples, dirt samples and records of volcanic, seismic or any relevant oceanic activity are taken. This wing is usually the most quiet out of all of them, considering they have to listen for whatever is going on in any recordings they may have recovered or made.
- Wing Five: Is high security and only privileged grunts are allowed in this wing of the labs. This is where all of the information that is believed to be linked towards Groudon is put even further under the microscope. Anyone caught here without permissions will either be gang attacked by grunts, or taken directly to Daxton to be dealt with.
GRUNTS AND PATROLS
Grunts in the base can be found doing anything for the most part. Whether they be wrestling with their Pokemon or a fellow team mate, or studying geology in a group or by themselves. When an intruder is discovered, they will make an attempt to block off their path. A loud commotion will be made and it is sure to bring it to the attention of the other grunts, and Daxton or Dayton. Cameras in every part of the base, excluding housing or restroom areas, allow for Daxton, Dayton and his big boys to monitor what's going on 24/7.Grunts on patrol are equipped with a radio and partnered with another grunt. They work 6 hour shifts and are divided evenly around the base for sufficient protection form intruders or dangers. They are also trained to look out for any compromises in structural integrity and will bring any finds they have to Daxton.
RECRUITMENT
For anybody looking to be recruited into the ranks of Team Magma are to contact Daxton or any of the Team Magma members. The team is not presently public, so most of the recruiting is done by Daxton approaching the person openly and inviting them to a Pokemon battle. If you prove to be a sufficient battler or a trainer that shows promise, you will be promptly asked if you would like to join the ranks of the Ground type team.
GUIDELINES
Avoid detection by Team Aqua and find clues to lead us to Groudon or anything that would help us in our adaptivity goals. We may already be discovered and put out there for the public to know about. That means all the more reason to keep our identities low.
Never walk around with your uniform showing in the public, unless we're trying to instill fear into the area.
Don't draw attention to yourself, always travel at night and have your Pokemon watch out for you as to not look suspicious.
Don't speak of us in public unless you want your tongue cut off. We're supposed to stay low. If someone starts talking about Team Magma, pretend you only know what they would know.
We have already been represented to Slateport in an unsightly manner. I won't go into details, but stay out of there unless you're sent there.
We know that it is hard to avoid detection by certain trainers, but you must make sure that they keep it between the two. Intimidating, murder and capture are not above us, if threatened to be taken to police, stop the trainer.
There is currently no word of our team becoming publicly announced.
TRAINING
There is a large cavernous area deep underground. The heat has vents to go through in the ground, so the temperature is only a little intense. You are required to bring sufficient amounts of water with you and a gas mask as well. This area is best suited for trainers with large pokemon. Fire, ground and resilient Pokemon are best for training in these harsh conditions. Controlled blasts are requested as to not disturb the integrity of the room. If your Pokemon cause too much damage or you are too careless, you will be requested to take the training outside and far away.
THE BOSS ROOM
As described above, the boss's room is located on ground level, within the volcano. Geothermal power pipelines run to and from the room. Lava runs down the path to the room and create an almost unbearable atmosphere. The vents and the constant flow of lava are the only thing that prevent poisoning within these tunnels leading to the boss's room. Inside of the boss's quarters, there are two beds, one for the leader and one for his twin brother. The window is always open, preventing things from getting in and out with steel bars and a heavy mesh on the outside of the windows. A desk sits on the center of the room, and one of the leader's toughest Pokemon is almost always seen outside of its ball in this room, resting next to the desk.
TEAM MAGMA HISTORY
Team Magma was a team that struggled and use to strive for the goal to expand the landmasses by great proportions using an ancient Pokemon called Groudon. For that time being, they were under the leadership of Maxie, a charismatic leader, but was ignorant in his plight. Maxie met an untimely fate at the hands of Archie, the old leader for Team Aqua. The team since disbanded but has been brought back together by Daxton Raymer. A man who's plea is to expand the living conditions for humanity, no matter what the cost.
Daxton was capable of re founding the team by using ties his parents used to have within the ranks. He was capable of recalling old grunts and having them recall some of their old friends from the team as well. From there, the grunt count inside of the base bloomed, allowing for a moderately sufficient team of scientists, excavators and guards to be established.
From where he stands now, Daxton has created the new Team Magma with it's new goals. He's now on his way to finding clues to finding Groudon.
