It was a few days after Andrea had managed to exchange the nice little rainbow rock for quite a tidy sum, and aforementioned sum was now sitting quite comfortably in her bank account. She hadn’t heard from Xue in the past few days, so she assumed that her pink-haired accomplice was out somewhere looking around the new region. Seeing that there was still no announced schedule for the next part of the talent show that was going to be hosted, which announced the viability of Coordinators to come and join up in the Nue region, she then decided to go through the Ruins once more; who knew if she was going to be able to find something of value?
She then made sure that she was fully-prepared, and had her best winter gear on once again—the weather advisories wouldn’t stop going on and on about sudden gusts of wind accompanied by snow that would persist throughout the day. Knowing that she had to hurry up, or else she’d get stuck out on the road if she went too slowly, she then began the trek to the Ruins, sticking to the safe roads this time. She only had to duck down somewhere twice, due to the sudden wind gusts, but some one and a half hours later she had arrived at last in the Ruin; looming above her quite impressively. “Alright, let’s do this,” she began, squaring her shoulders and marching right into the first entrance she spotted, secretly hoping that there was still something of value that had been either left behind or accidentally overlooked!
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found INTRIGUING STONE ! Not a Mega Stone but it's still a beautiful stone. It can be sold for a high price to a collector.

Andrea then reached for a flash light, and flicked it on. She had to shake the thing a few times before the beam of light poured out of the wide end, illuminating the gloom. Now that she had a light source, she could proceed to looking through the area without having to worry about hitting her head on something, or tripping over fallen rubble and all the other hazards that were scattered around the place. Wondering if she was going to find anything interesting today, she then began poking around one of the rooms she’d come across, but saw nothing inside but overturned rubble, and artifacts that had seemingly been disturbed by previous visitors.
“Eesh, people, who don’t you at least return the overturned objects to their old positions?” she muttered, rolling her eyes skywards as she ventured deeper in, poking her head into the subsequent rooms that she came across—all to no avail. It wasn’t until the sixth (or was it seventh, who knew if she was keeping track) that she’d spotted something glimmering! In her rush, she then made her way through the fallen junk, and snatched up the glittering thing—but then realized something was a bit…off about the design. “Oh, no. not you again…” she began, tossing the marble lookalike aside, before hoisting herself out of the area and continuing her search deeper into the Ruins.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found Rare Bone! A bone that is extremely valuable for Pokémon archeology. It can be sold for a high price to shops.

After hearing the round thing clatter down into the hallway behind her, Andrea decided to get a move on—simply because she knew that she had to hurry; what if the messages were sent out regarding the first competition that she’d signed up for, but didn’t get to appear in when the contestants were called up to the stage?! That would be the ultimate nightmare for her. She then continued to peer into countless rooms, sighing all the while because nothing that she saw was of general interest—it was mostly overturned ruins and scattered remains of what she assumed to be those weird things that she’d secretly sworn to stamp out ever since running into a fair load of them in the Kalos region.
Well, this isn’t looking too good… she thought to herself as she then extracted herself from another room that she’d swept through, finding nothing of worth in it. She then let out another sigh, and continued deeper in, missing the fact that there was an old bone lying near where she was walking—was she really in a Ruins that housed an ancient civilization, or had she wandered into a mass tomb of some sort that had been hastily hidden under the pretense of “ruins” that looked old, ancient, and were most certainly triggered with still-live traps up to this day? Who knew?
“Come on, come on, come on…” she muttered to herself as she continued to search through the area, wiggling the flash light beam up and down, trying to pick out something sparkling from within the gloom.

It didn’t take too long before Andrea had found something; however the something that had presented itself to her wasn’t exactly what she was hoping for. She knew that at this point that it was a make or break kind of thing, and she crossed her fingers as she continued to poke the beam of the flash light around, wiggling it up and down, hoping to catch the glint of something sparkling in the early afternoon light. However, though, there were other plans being made—and as the beam of her flash light fell on a marble. It looked… similar to the one that she’d already seen earlier when she’d arrived not too long ago!
Sighing, she then kicked at the little rock, hearing it roll and clatter across the stone floor, out of sight, out of mind. “Oh crap. This is usually the part where I start panicking…” she muttered to herself, looking through the rest of the rooms that she’d come across at this very moment. She was sincerely hoping that her luck didn’t go sour; not with the crazy run she’d had last month (and making several individuals rather happy). Was this year going to start off on a rather bad footing this time around? Who knew what would happen? Andrea was getting quite frantic at this point in time, hastily looking through rooms that had been evidently disturbed, giving each and every place a sweeping look before quickly getting out of the area in order to look for another room to search… but nothing came up. What would happen next?

Andrea’s searching was getting quite frantic at this point, she didn’t realize that she’d already fallen into another room entirely and had stumbled into a room that had been stripped of all valuable items. As she got to her feet and dusted herself down, she then felt a furrow of concern pass over her face—because she’d come across a room where everything had been taken… everything except a weird, blue rock on the nearest overturned column. Wondering what it was, she then slowly, cautiously approached it and then shone the beam of the flash light down on the weird slab of blue rock. “Hmm,” she began, a pensive look crossing her face as she then examined it with much detail. After remembering that she had a similar slab of blue rock—yet had a different design on it, she then decided that it was better than nothing.
“This is the best I can do. But hey, at least I get another pretty slab of rock to take along and keep,” she muttered as she then slowly reached for her backpack and slipped on some gloves, before gently lifting the Cover Fossil from where it had been left behind. “I wonder if you and the feathered blue rock thing go together,” she pondered with a muffled voice as she then held it with both hands, since the flash light was in her mouth. After a few moments of indecision, she then tucked it under her arms before grabbing the flash light and then making her way down and out of the place, precious cargo under her right arm at this point, hoping that she could find an expert who could check them out and tell her what they are, because she honestly had no idea what Fossils were at this point in time!
