Rachel had taken a rest for a few days; and was now back once again in the Ruins, hoping to try her luck once more. She’d very nearly gotten herself injured the last time she’d gone out here previously, and was now carting around a small backpack that was crammed with flash lights. Well, mostly they were flash lights; but there were also some extra sandwiches and water canteens crammed in just to be on the safe side. She knew that it was going to be another long day, and that the winter was biting cold. Bundling up as best as she could, she then slipped on another sweater over the two shirts she was wearing, along with another jacket over the aforementioned sweater as well. After slotting her feet into the thick boots that she’d cleaned out while resting up and grabbing her supplies, she then made her way towards the Ruins, taking over two hours to get there because of the drifts that had piled high, the result of a freak snow storm the night before. As the silhouettes of the ruins loomed in the distance, she then picked up the pace and then skidded down the slope, being absolutely careful as to not accidentally slip and fall, or worse, literally “break a leg”. There hadn’t been any announcements regarding any theatrical presentations yet, and she was taking full advantage of the free time in order to be able to explore the weird Ruins to see if they would yield the same weird marbles that she’d been picking up all over the place. 2 / 4

Rachel knew that there was a high chance that she didn’t have any cell phone reception while in the Ruins, so she had to make this a quick trip. Who knew if the announcement for their first shows would come while she was searching through the place and didn’t receive the message? The mere thought of this caused her to pick up the pace, while reaching for a flash light and turning it on, before shining the beam down the pitch blackness that waited beyond where she stood. She blinked a few times, thinking that there was a chill in the air…and shaking her head in order to clear her mind of such thoughts. Now that she had the flash light in hand, she felt a bit safer with it as she continued to walk down the dark hallway, shining the beam of light up and down… …when she stepped on something that caused her to fall off-balance! Shrieking as she felt her body tip over forward, she then tried to catch her balance—and ended up using both her hands in order to save herself from literally kissing the musty floor! She landed with a rather loud crash on the rock, and felt the pain shoot through her body on impact—it just really hurt that much. Hissing, she then saw that the flash light had fallen some distance away, and scrambled to get it, and by the time she’d returned, the beam was faltering. She then gave the flash light a rather vigorous shake, before shining it at the approximate point where she felt her balance dip. It… it was a marble. It looked quite similar to the one she’d found before, but the coloration was slightly…different? She couldn’t tell. “Eh?” she began, taking out her small pouch and shining the flash light into its depths, showing the glittering load, before returning to the one on-hand. “Well, marble’s a marble. I’ll take you,” she muttered, before dropping the new find in, where it clinked against the rest. She then began to make her way out of the place, being extremely careful as to not trip over any unseen objects… Claiming!
