AS SOON AS THE LIGHTS GO DOWN THE SHADOWS ARE ON YOUR SIDE Ruuuuuumbllle.... Miguel's eyes widened as he looked at the Gengar statue and stepped back from it a few paces away while still holding the rainbow marble. "...That can't be good.” Clearly, Miguel hadn't learned to at least check for traps after being subjected to a booby trap in the last ruins he had visited. He was surely regretting it now as the Gengar's mouth unhinged like something out of a horror flick and began to spew out a strange foul-smelling black liquid from it. ”Of course I just had to be right, didn't I?!” Miguel muttered to himself as he placed a hand over his mouth and nose, trying to muffle out the horrid stench while moving away from the wretched liquid. He began to look around, searching for possible exits that wouldn't be reached by the black liquid that was flowing out of the Gengar's mouth like the most putrid vomit he'd ever seen. Given that he had once seen a Muk vomit, that was definitely saying something. Unfortunately, the room he'd entered seemed to have no doors on this floor. All he could see were large windows and the silhouette of what looked like door frames on the floors above in this open room, whatever room this was supposed to be. Fucking great. Now he had to climb up to the second floor using the pillars and scaffolding if he wanted to stay smelling decent and not something that even a dump would refuse. Miguel paled as one of the stones he had clutching onto detached, nearly sending him falling down into the noxious sludge that had filled the lower floor and was now working its way up. It was only his prodigious arm strength, uncanny sense of balance, and his feet swinging to some statues below to step on them that prevented him to falling into whatever that was. He didn't know if that stuff was lethal to humans and he didn't want to find out if it was. Besides, Miyu would kill him if he came back looking like a swamp monster while smelling like something only Muk, Garbodor and Weezing would even bother to approach. Righteous womanly wrath was not something he liked to deal with, deserved or not. Master Anderson -may Arceus have mercy on his old soul- taught him that much.
