some coincidences are deliberate
not really / 4 out of 4 for December / 311
Andrea knew she was cutting it absolutely close, but at least she would be able to deliver the gifts that she’d already picked out for the two individuals that she was going to be sharing the spirit of the season with. Now that she’d done her Christmas shopping, she decided to check out the Ruins one more time, before skiving away from the place in order to enjoy the holiday celebrations in the Nue region.
She knew that her brother was still busy trying to get the new place they were going to be crashing in settled down at, but she decided to stay out of his hair until he was officially done with everything; and had decided to stay at a local hostel until she’d heard from him.
Now that she was bundled up against the cold extremely well; her black-and-orange scarf leaving no expense for her to feel so cold, she then began the slow trek towards the Ruins—the cold weather was definitely picking up and it was proving to be hard to see in front of her. Wondering if it was a good idea to search through the Ruins in this weather, she then made up her mind to wait out the storm in the area, if ever she found anything of worth while searching through the area!
She could feel the nip of the snowflakes against her exposed cheek, and then knew she’d forgotten to pack the goggles she’d always relied on whenever she’d go digging through horrible weather in the Badlands over in the Kalos region.
“Crap. Oh well, time to grin and bear with it…” she hissed to herself as she then raised her arms in order to shield herself; finally reaching the looming Ruins and finally scrambling into one of the open areas; leaning against the wall, secretly relieved that she’d found shelter.
