EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.

Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.

It had been some time since Andrea had decided to drop by the Mega Ruins—and the weather that was slowly but surely growing much colder gave her all the reason to prepare herself for future treks; including this one. Normally she’d have been beating away with a shovel all the way in the Kalos region and dressed lightly—because even if it was December, the Kalosian winter was a bit on the warm side.
Definitely, it wasn’t the case here in the Nue region—because not only was the wind beginning to bite, but the more one stayed out longer, the more one could see their own breath puffing up in front of them and experiencing the chills. After she’d made sure to dress appropriately (and worn her gloves for good measure) she then set out towards the Ruins proper once more—with a mission in mind.
She’d found out from her younger brother about the weird marbles, and that they were called “Mega Stones”, but what were they used for? She was pondering on that; until she’d started hearing unconfirmed rumors from her fellow Coordinators that if one was to use certain Pokémon that had these marbles on them, something…rather exciting would happen in their Appeal rounds; but that was pretty much about it.
She could only guess as to what would happen; but then again, who knew if they were just baseless rumors once more? As she reached one of the entrances, she then unclipped one of the myriad of flash lights that hung from her utility belt; and then turned the device on. a beam of light then poured from the brim of the thing she held in her hand, and she then began to wiggle the beam up and down, being ever so careful as to not trip over anything as she began her own search…

It didn’t take too long before Andrea was finally pawing through the area, trying to search for something that would make her day—or at least someone else’s. Wondering if it was possible to keep searching even after nightfall, she then began checking through the area, trying to shine the beam of her flash light as much as she could in order to check if there was anything of general interest that was sticking out.
After checking the first few rooms and broken-down walls she’d come across—and finding nothing at all that got her attention—she then decided to turn around and take the opposite path-she’d taken the right on a branching path she’d found earlier while searching, and now was heading towards the same junction in order to be able to go down the other route this time.
After reaching aforementioned junction and taking the other route, she continued to check around—and almost tripped over a rock that was laying smack in her path! Wondering why some things were just scattered so carelessly around the area, she then shone the beam of light down on it—and then recognized the markings that decorated this particular piece of rock.
“Hello, how’re you,” she began softly, crouching down and brushing away what appeared to be a layer of dust on the fossil, similar to what she’d found back in the Kalos Badlands—and those seemed like an eternity ago. “I’m sorry, not today though,” she continued, before gently moving it out of the general pathway, and placing it off to one side—before continuing in deeper into the Ruins.

It hadn’t been too long ago when Andrea had encountered someone who was looking for one of the rainbow-colored rock things, and since she already had one for herself, she decided to give the second one away to the guy who was looking for it—because why not? It was near Christmas anyway, and she’d decided to get into the spirit of the season; which then reminded her to shop for gifts for Xue and her younger brother right at that moment!
She then smacked a palm to her head with her free hand, while the flash light’s beam was pointed down at the ground after that sudden realization had hit her; she needed to go shopping and fast! Wondering what would be a good idea to get the two people she cared about (there was no way in the seven hells she was going to get something for her father, tried as he might to reconcile with her) she continued to look around the place…
…until she’d finally stumbled across something that was worth noting. As the beam of light then fell towards the ground once more, she then squinted down—and saw that there was something sparkling, winking up at her! She could only guess as to what it was, but the moment she’d plucked it up and examined it under the beam of light that she held in her other hand, she then let out a derisive chuckle, before it became a snort—completely and totally unbecoming of her being a Coordinator, of all things.
“Well, talk about randomly lucky… guess I’ll take this pretty home and sit on it until someone gets interested in you,” she said after another round of chuckling; before finally pocketing the thing and then making her way out of the Ruins—she needed to get that Christmas shopping done!
