EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.

RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.

Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.

The Mega Ruins were proving to be more interesting than just dirt and sand. Amber's Pokemon liked having more places to explore, and so did she. However, their past two trips have been pretty unsuccessful. Even though it was a new place, most of the items were the same. Most. She was pretty sure she counted about like five random glasses she found, plus three leftover sandwiches some explorer left behind years ago. Fang didn't like sniffing the items, it was gross and had a awful stench to them. So this time, Amber brought along a different one. Theseus, who was mostly searching above land, was looking around curiously. The ruins were beautiful, at least in the Salamence's eyes. He flew around above head, dropping down on top of some of the structures and stretched his wings, keeping his eyes out for anything shiny.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found a RARE BONE! A bone that is extremely valuable for Pokémon archeology. It can be sold for a high price to shops.

The Salamence hopped from ruin to ruin, landing as carefully as he could and inspecting the area he was on. Surprisingly, the structures could hold Theseus' weight and could possibly hold another. But Amber didn't feel like paying a huge ass bill because she destroyed shit. But Amber knew the Salamence was careful with his power. Theseus hopped back down, heading to the pond for a quick drink. He spotted something in the water as he lapped it up, but choose to ignore the bone in the pond. He wasn't sure what or who it belonged to, and honestly the Salamence didn't really want to know either. After the quick drink, he went back to Amber's side and they continued through the ruins together. Now that there wasn't anymore digging, the trips to the ruins were actually relaxing now.

Even though they had been there for almost half an hour, most of their time was spent looking around. They didn't actually look around for any stones or whatever. They were mostly looking at the ruins themselves and seeing what sort of interesting places they could stumble upon. However, Theseus decided to actually make an effort and start searching for stones. The Salamence dropped to the ground, landing surprisingly gently and moved around on the main ground. Amber followed behind, watching as the Salamence crooked his head to stare at one of the walls curiously. There was nothing interesting in sight, and if there was, the two of them walked right past it. Or they just didn't have any interest in the item. Amber had most of the stones she wanted, it was just a matter of finding two or three more.

Eventually, the two of them settled down near the river. The water was crystal clear. Theseus leaned over the edge, taking a small drink before he returned to exploring the ruins with Amber. She sat not too far from the Salamence, leaning against a rock and stretching her arms out. "Man, these ruins are really cool." She said, crossing her arms behind her head. Theseus nodded in agreement, pulling his head up from the river. He paused when his eyes caught something in the water. The Dragon blinked once before leaning his neck out, staring at the stone caught in the rocks curiously.
Amber was about to doze off when she noticed the Salamence staring at something weirdly. "Find something, Theseus?" She questioned. The Salamence simply replied by stepping into the river, picking the stone out of the water and walking back out. He shook the water off of his wings and walked back over to Amber, carefully dropping the stone in her out stretched hand. The small rock wobbled before it settled in her palm. She lifted it to the light, looking at it carefully. That wasn't any stone she had heard of. Was it one of those newer ones that had been discovered? The colors were...
She paused. No, it couldn't have been. Amber jumped up, fumbling with the stone before dropping her bag. She searched through it, finding a band and stuck the rock in it. The band was rather large, fitted to snap itself around a Pokemon's neck. Theseus tilted his head curiously. She was getting oddly excited over a Mega Stone. Amber caught onto the Salamence's confusion as she turned around with the collar. "If this works..." She muttered, placing the collar around the Dragon's neck carefully.
Once the collar snapped in place, Amber took a few steps back and held up her bracelet with the Key Stone. "Okay, Theseus. Try Mega Evolving." Amber stated. The Salamence growled in confusion. Mega Evolve? Was he capable of that now? But Amber had a completely serious look on her face, the Dragon type couldn't say no to trying. So he did.
Focusing for a moment, both him and Amber stared at each other for a moment. He took what he learned from Amber's Garchomp, Dracondra, and tried to will himself to Mega Evolve. Suddenly, the Mega Stone and the Key Stone reacted. The same sphere that engulfed Dracondra suddenly surrounded Theseus. Before Amber's jaw could even drop, the sphere broke and revealed the Salamence.
The Salamence roared, hovering in the air as he felt his new body. So, this was Mega Evolution? This is what Dracondra felt like all the time? Theseus zipped around above head, testing out his new body and power. Amber could only stare up in complete shock. Theseus had a Mega Stone. Her Salamence had a Mega Stone. Needless to say, she and Theseus went back to Shui very happy that day.
