elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.
EPOCH is PG-13. Proboards’ Terms of Service:
Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.

Here they were yet again. In the deserts glaring heat and sun on the hunt for another artifact. Nyx trotted faithfully at Rhafa's side, taking her time to stray and explore the area while Rhafa looked for a good place to stop and dig. He watched her pounce on this thing and that, a smile on his features. He was glad that after 23 years, she could still act like a kitten. He adored her for her ability to look at the bright side of things and being a constant source of energy for him.
He finally found a spot to stop and bent down, running his hand along the hardened ground. He started to pull out his tools while Nyx circled around him, keeping a lookout for any wild Pokemon that they might have happened across. Feeling that it was safe enough, she settled next to Rhafiel, watching as he broke the earth with his trowel, digging slowly and carefully to see if he would come across any artifacts.
Nyx let out a small mrow, her voice sounding in his head when his trowel hit something hard in the dirt, 'Looks like we got something!' She sounded absolutely overjoyed.

While beautiful, this stone wasn't exactly what Rhafiel was looking for. Nyx only gave a hum of acknowledgement when she caught sight of it and then moved on to explore the desert a little more. Rhafa couldn't blame her, to be honest. He wasn't very interested in this little piece of treasure, either. He carefully set the stone back into the hole he had dug and covered it back up, pushing himself back to his feet and brushing his knees of any sand or dirt. 'Over here!' Nyx suddenly sounded in his head. She was standing a ways away, on her back paws, waving her front ones at him. Chuckling, he caught up to her, lifting an eyebrow as he watched her dig her claws into the ground, slowly starting to dip up their next item. Rhafiel craned his head over the hole, hoping that he might be able to catch a glimpse of what it was.
He was also thinking about the bath Nyx would be getting when they went back to town. She had no idea, either.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found a RELIC CROWN ! A crown made in a civilization about 3,000 years ago. A maniac will buy it for a high price.

Nyx look intrigued by the crown that they found, though Rhafiel wasn't sure what they would do with it. He scratched the back of his head, lifting an eyebrow at Nyx as she bounced around the hole that she had dug for the two of them. "I don't think we're going to take this with us, Nyx," Rhafiel admitted softly, watching as Nyx's ears perked up. She looked contemplative but then she nodded and started to push the dirt back into the hole. Rhafiel just chuckled lightly as he went on ahead.
He crouched down a ways away, brushing his hand along the hard packed Earth. He slowly started to dig a wide hole, taking his time and letting Nyx catch up with him. She jumped into the middle of the hole, taking over the digging, seeming to enjoy herself quite a bit. He sat back on his feet, smiling to himself as he watched his Pokemon.
Nyx bounced around the hole excitedly when she hit something in the dirt. 'I found something!' she purred happily, looking excitedly up at Rhafiel when he bent down to brush the rest of the dirt away.

Rhafiel's eyes went wide when he realized that he had found another one of those beautifully colored stones. He slipped his hand into the hole, pulling out the stone and brushing all of the dirt off of it. "Well, look, it's another one of these stones," he said with a small smile, holding it slowly up to the light. "We're going to take this with us. The last one was pretty valuable. Maybe this one is too," he said with a smile, slipping the object into his bag.
He leaned forward so that Nyx could jump onto his shoulders and then he stood up. Feeling rather excited, he started back toward the city, humming a small song. Nyx sneezed a bit, 'I'm all dirty.' "Yep, and you're getting a bath right when you get home," he said with a clever chuckle. Nyx tensed, letting out a growl of opposition. "Yes, you are, Nyx. Don't be a baby," Rhafa laughed softly, petting her ears. She nipped at his hand and he booped her nose.
