Xue's decisions were often made through some sort of impulse. Such a system often led her to trouble, but a good adventure as well. Today though, she wasn't so sure what exactly the outcome of this adventure through Kalos's Badlands would entail. This entire journey started off with an article saying there was treasure and sorts to be found throughout the Kalos Badlands. Archeologists finding fossils, or people just going about and coming across relics of the past! At the time, sitting at a cafe under a parasoul, it seemed like such a grand idea.
"I really need to reconsider my options and decision-making process." Xue complained, grateful she at least didn't come here with a one-piece dress and heels.
She wiped another dose of sweat from her forehead with a towel from her bag. While putting the item away, she took out two rubber bands and used them to tie her hair into two sections. The group walked on a little bit until coming across a small clearing with a tall mound providing a bit of shade. It was here that she would start digging about with her Honedge, Xing Cai. Kaguya, on the other hand, would be place down to watch and move some of the rubble dug up.
"Here's a good place as any to start!"

That was the sound a shovel made when a digger came across something hard. Or treasure. Perhaps both! Xue shook away that thought, since nobody was that lucky. She kept digging a bit harder until the clanking got so loud, Kaguya almost used Hyper Voice to drown it out. Xue pouted and puffed, dropping her tool and decided to try and unearth the whateveritwas out by hand.
"Fumufumu!!" Xue said, yanking as hard as she could.
Honedge went to the opposite side and wedged itself in the little crack for leverage. By their powers combined, the duo pushed as much effort as could possibly come out of their vessels until their force caused them to fall down suddenly. That sudden fall generated by the launch of the previously lodged stone; now on a downward landing course. Xue didn't even try to hide her scream, as she quickly scooped Xing Cai and Kaguya and moved out of the way. The stone slab impacted the ground with a thunderous smash and pieces of the rock broke off with ease. Once the dust settled, the group approached the item and took a look.
While the main stone wasn't salvagable, a shining pastel green crystal remained. It looked beautiful, but had a strange marking in the middle. Kaguya, though, found it irresistable and crawled her way over to pick it up. The stone was secured and held overhead by the empath Pokemon.
<Raraaa raa!/'I think we should keep it!'> Kaguya chimed.
Xue, not quite getting what was going on, took her Pokemon's gesture as a sign that she wanted to keep the stone. "Haha, alright Kagu-chin. Let's go head back to a Pokemon Center and I'll fashion it into a hair piece for you."
She scooped up her Ralts onto the shoulder, and picked up their gear. You'd hear no complaints from Xue for leaving a wasteland so soon! Xing Cai hovered and followed the trainer along the path, as the treasure enticed Kaguya hummed a tune while never letting go of that mysterious gem.
