Now that Andrea was continuing her search deeper into the Badlands—true to its crazy reputation—she looked over her shoulder and saw that her Milotic was fanning itself; before she looked up and saw that the sun had come out. “Oh, shoot,” she hissed, realizing that her own skin was going to be burning to a crisp if she didn’t cover up and protect herself. “Alright, Lexie… let me just… you know what? Just use Rain Dance instead if it’s really that hot and you can’t bear with the heat. I mean, you already drenched my shirt, so why not go the whole ten yards…” she said with this tone of resignation in her voice, and the Milotic then quickly waved its tail around before seemingly slamming it down on the dirt—and the skies above the spot where they had stopped suddenly turned dark; before a torrential rain poured through the area.
It wasn’t as hot as it was within the circle of where the Rain Dance weather change had taken effect, and she could feel her own skin getting drenched—but it was no biggie. “This also makes it easier to dig…” she said with a grin as the Milotic then gratefully curled up and just enjoyed the feeling of the rain drops on its skin as she watched her mistress then strike the shovel into the now-wet ground, before starting to toss aside wet piles of ground off to one side. She could feel the relief rising off her own skin as well—who knew that she was getting so close to getting her own skin burned raw and had narrowly averted it with the Rain Dance that her Milotic had just tossed up in order to be able to cool down the area? Any little bit helps, she thought with a grin as she continued to shovel off piles of wet ground off to one side.

After the shower of rain began pouring down around the area where Andrea was digging, she breathed a sigh of relief—because the rain served to cool her down somewhat; even if her clothes got soaked. She could see that Lexie had apparently curled up and was now relishing the feeling of the refreshing rain water pouring over her—never mind that her “boss” had asked for it in any way—and then just continued to watch as she sent pile after pile of wet dirt over her shoulder. Before long, something then made its appearance and she squinted at it, before squatting down and then realizing that it wasn’t what she was looking for. “Heh. Well, nice try, Badlands, but this is not what I want,” she said, quickly whacking it with the shovel and then gesturing for the Milotic to move forward with her, wondering if the Rain Dance weather change would move with the Pokémon that had cast it or not…?
After reaching the very edge of the circumference where the rain was pouring in a torrent, she realized that it was just confined to a single area, so with another gesture to the heavens, the Milotic then took the cue and then made it pour over the area again—since from observation, the area of effect only worked in the original place where it was used. “Heh, thanks Lexie,” she said with another grin, giving the Tender ‘mon another pat on the head before heading into the now-raining area and then looking for a nice spot to dig. Once shed found it, she then stuck the shovel into the dirt, and then began moving aside piles of wet earth so that she could be able to continue her search…

As the torrential rain poured down on the area where she was digging, Andrea couldn’t help but think—was there something about the weather that was causing her to keep running into crap drops; much like the other “Relic” item from earlier? Her suspicions were somewhat confirmed as she felt her shovel strike against something… and that something was familiar to her. She heard the all-too-familiar gunshot sound going off, and knew that she had hit something…yet again. “Oh boy,” was all she had time to say as the Milotic slithered over to where she was and looked down at what she’d just accidentally destroyed with her shovel—and sighed. It was another one of the “Relic” series; something she wasn’t too keen on meeting. “Heh. Lexie, are you okay now?” she asked the Tender ‘mon, to which she got a nod—and they then walked out of the rainstorm pelting the area, back into the heat.
The wetness of her clothes stuck to her as the sun beat down on them—but at least the cool effect wasn’t evaporating quickly. “Alright, Lexie, return,” she said, quickly recalling the Milotic back into her PokeBall before looking around—at least she felt refreshed, albeit extremely drenched from the few times she was in the rainstorm. She then marched forward, hefting her (thankfully) waterproof backpack higher up on her shoulder until she found another spot that looked deserted enough; and with another strike of the shovel into the ground, got to work. Would she be able to find what she was seeking in the next roll? She then screwed up her eyes and glared right at the heavens—and willed her luck to not turn afoul on her as she continued to dredge up piles of dirt and sent them off to one side.

Now that they were digging in the sweltering heat, Andrea could only stop and think; what was she going to find next, now that she’d resorted to digging all alone, under the heat of the sun? The answer would become obvious in a few moments—as she then felt something rather… hard underneath the blade of the shovel that she was using. She then decided to “knock” on the surface of the thing with the shovel, and was met with a resounding “thud” noise every time the shovel blade hit the thing she’d found. Squatting down to see just what the hell it was, she then saw that it was… something that looked like the blue “thing” she’d found some time ago; only difference to this was that it looked more like an inverted bowl with spikes poking out from the sides.
“This is a strange one…” she muttered to herself, before deciding to take an all-out gamble—what would she find next? She then left the weird fossil behind; before quickly scouting out another place to dig; and sometime later she had found it—before quickly getting to digging; because there was no way in hell she was not leaving any single stone unturned. Come on, come on, come on… I just need to find another marble; another shiny marble and this will all be worthwhile! She thought, a desperate look crossing her face at this point. She then continued to dig through the new spot, sending a lot of dirt over her shoulder; just… really wanting to find something of worth.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found a RELIC BAND ! A bracelet made in a civilization about 3,000 years ago. A maniac will buy it for a high price. The chickens are still in transit to their destination.

The silence was broken by another screech—and boy, was it an exclamation of shock. If there were any other people around the spot where Andrea was digging, they would’ve either clamored around her; or just plain left her alone—because her digging had unearthed something that she thought she wouldn’t see again, not for a long time at least: it was another one of the “Relic” series. She was actually considering on shouting and smashing the thing she’d found into pieces—but knew that it was possible for her to actually get something out of the nothingness she’d just found.
“This is just horrible. Badlands. Stop being evil.Be nice to me for once!” she muttered angrily as she then plucked the weird bracelet-thing that was made out of rock, and tossed her shovel over her shoulder and leaving the place in a huff. She knew she had to drop off the weird thing for the requisite exchange, before being able to return to the digging—she was down to her last shot for the month; and was wondering if there was another wave of bad luck permeating through the Badlands; because seriously—what was wrong with her? She’d scored two pieces of bad luck in a row! Why were the nice, shining marbles that brought the promise of immense riches eluding her grasp?!
