Daxton Amari Raymer
Name: Daxton Raymer
Alias: Dax, Chaff
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Female
Region: Born and raised in Hoenn, Lives in Nue, Iceburgh city with his brother.
Class: Trainer
Occupation: Construction Worker
Rank Team Magma Agent
APPEARANCE
Description:
He has short white hair that falls to his shoulders and despite looking heavy due to being flat, his hair is actually light weight and appears thin... it's not.
Daxton has blue eyes that look as if they've been dyed. Due to his eyes being so lightly colored in that shade of blue, he has to wear sunglasses in harsh sunlight, but that doesn't bother him, as they compliment his looks.
Wears a red jacket almost all of the time with a white tank top underneath. His pants are usually black cargos and his shoes are black combat boots.
His other attire consist of either no shirt and his pants as well as his boots, camouflage, or nothing at all.
He stands at 6"2 exactly and has a consistent weight of 180 pounds. Daxton, despite his height, is good at concealing his self among backgrounds.
Running down his back, he has a scar that was mysteriously acquired. He still has no clue how he got it, but he's positive that most of his other scars are purely by fighting with larger creatures. His lip has a light scar on it from when he busted it wrestling with his Lucario. His foot has a scar on it from were his boot was punctured by a nail in the construction site and the last one is on his stomach, where a young Metang tried to take a chunk out of his belly button while they were play fighting.
PERSONALITY
Most of the time, Daxton can facade as a friendly soul, when in truth, he can be very sadistic. His personality is built off of life struggles and life lessons. While he is honest and will stab no one in the back, he is not fully trusting. He can make friends, but more than likely he will be closed off and keep his friends close to his self, within his organization.
Whenever Daxton does anything, he does it alone. His independent and suspicious nature makes it to where working with him is nearly impossible unless a previous bond had already been formed between him and the other person wishing to accompany him. Not only does a person need to bond with him, they also need to learn to look past his sarcasm.
To any person who is observant like Daxton, they would notice that he tends to stray away from crowds and groups of strangers to him. It isn't hard at all to note that Daxton is introverted and set off from potentially awkward situations, making him a corner hugger in crowded places.
When it comes to his Pokemon, he treats them well, knowing that in a lot of situations, his life rests in their care and the same goes for his Pokemon.
He shows a particularly strong bond with Auxru, his Lucario. Being that the Pokemon is almost always out of his ball and next to him at all times, it's obvious to anyone that watches them, that there is almost a favoritism towards the Lucario. He doesn't choose favorites, but he does tend to lean towards the Lucario he's had so long.
Ambitions: Daxton dreams of one day capturing the Pokemon that scared him out of the cave he encountered while 19, but knowing the odds of that are low, his main priority is becoming a Special Agent within Team Magma's forces. The military wouldn't keep him, so he'll show them all what he's capable of and watch them burn.

HISTORY
History:
Daxton was born healthy on a cold, windy day. His mother had been waiting for this day as he was the firstborn, and the only one they were probably going to have. Daxton’s father was in his khakis, sitting next to the woman that had just given birth. As a soldier,he was lucky to be home with his wife at this time as he typically found his self overseas and far away from home. The child kicked, cried and made a lot of noise, silencing when his father walked over with a Jolteon who hopped up to investigate him. Of course, being a newborn, all he could register was that it was cold and that a man with a voice he was used to hearing before it got all cold and bright was somewhere close again.
The young boy loved to romp and play, but when he was about 8 years old, he stepped on a Riolu’s tail, it yipped at him in detest and his father’s Jolteon leapt onto the Riolu, pinning it to the ground and jolting it before the small, blue dog was sucked into a Poke ball. Daxton’s father walked by and dropped the ball in his hand before ruffling his hair and walking away and left him with a Riolu in the middle of a corn field.
He was still growing up on the family farm, helping his mother. He earned his second Pokémon as a 10thbirthday present from his mother and father. It was a Beldum, which he dubbed with the name Emery. The Riolu though, was happy to see this new addition, sniffing and yipping at the new friend while the Beldum could do nothing but give it curious looks.
Daxton turned 15 before he earned his Onix…. Which almost crushed him on accident… the surprisingly gentle creature challenged the boy, his Metang and his Lucario to a battle, to see if he was worthy of capturing him. The boy didn’t really know what to think of the Onix’s odd behavior, but they defeated him and successfully capturing the powerful rock snake. “Ha! I’ll call you Mica! Deal with it!” Was what he said out-loud as he dashed out of the cavern and into the fields, running back home with his new addition to the team.
While out causing trouble as a typical 17 year old, his heart was crushed by a girl that had claimed to love him, angry and frustrated with her, he stormed off into a cave and sat there for a bit. Moving and kicking rocks around, he uncovered a strange looking fossil and pulled it out of the ground. It appeared to have some kind of steel still stuck on it, but it was bio-metallic. “Sweet! This is the fossil of a Sheildon.” was cut short by a Magneton, who had released a minor paralyzing spark onto him. “WHY YOU LITTL.” Stunned again, by the same Magneton… “Get him Auxru, Mica and Emery!” and on clue, all three Pokémon jumped the Magneton, taking it down and giving their, still a little stunned, master an opportunity to capture it and keep it as his own. “You… I’ll name your stubborn little ass Pilot.”
Of course, Daxton had to take the fossil he found to the museum and get it checked out, and to his great pleasure, they had enough DNA in the bio-metallic armor to bring it back to life with a cloning device. It wasn’t even 12 hours later, and they had a Sheildon waiting for him. The little guy was tired and worn out; giving the boy that was holding him a tired look. “So… what do you think about the name Granite?” the Sheildon was too tired to reply and gave a grunt, before dropping his head intohis arms and letting this stranger carry him out.
He was 19 now and fresh out of boot camp. He hadn’t really left to go overseas either and got to sit around at base all day. A Steelix, Metagross, Lucario, Magneton and Bastiodon sat behind him, looking at him intensively, wondering when their next command would come. “Let’s go... we’re going to go to that cave we were told to stay away from…” He stood up and his Pokemon all looked at each other, confused at why he was doing this. They trudged and trudged up the mountain side, eventually reaching a cave full of bio-luminescent crystals, but it wasn’t long before an angered Aggron appeared from around a ledge. Without even thinking about it, he instantly commanded his Lucario to attack the Aggron with an aura sphere. The battle didn't drag out for long... not with Mica coming out of the bal and dragging the other steel type down a hole it began to dig. "You're gonna collapse the cave!" His words fell on nothing though. Turning tail with the remaining Pokemon, he ran out of the cave, turning back to wait for his partner. After what felt like an hour, his Steelix came up from the rubble, shaking off what was left. "Way to go. Now let's bail!"
22 years old and sitting like a duck in the military. The uppers weren't pleased with his actions. He and his team had charged into the midst of a calamity without thinking twice. Daxton though, knew that his Pokemon could handle a task like that and glared the majors down. How dare they underestimate him and his team. "You think you've seen the last of me? I'll leave and impression so deep, that you'll fall in it!" He stormed out of the room, throwing his cap down on the table. Burning bridges were a big thing for Daxton, a big thing of nothing. He turned his sights towards Team Magma. Expanding the land using great blazes and volcanoes. Turning the earth itself inside out... He could watch the ones who gave him hell burn and there were benefits to more land. To make things better, they were a team from his home country, Hoenn.

Daxton
spun his self back and forth gently in the desk chair, staring blankly
at the papers in front of him. His eyes drooped and the man's head
bobbed down. The ex-soldier had drifted to sleep, and a snore from his
own body jolted him, waking him from his drifting sleep. It had been
boring recently, considering what he just went through with Diesel.
The
Registeel followed behind Daxton loyally. With the other five Pokemon
left behind with a trusted daycare professional, the security officer
could only hope that the poor day care crew could handle his steel type
team. The two were alone, climbing the side of a snow covered mountain.
Recent attacks and his volatile nature didn't suit a job on a school
campus, as much as it would his old job as a soldier. The trail was a tasking one, and he had to turn his mind to what he had set in the path of him and his Registeel, Diesel.
Snow
blew down on them hard until they reached the first entrance of only
one of the caves they would have to go through. They battled, they
walked, they ran, jumped, climbed and fell. After what felt like forever
though, the duo arrived at the exit of the first cave, greeted by even
fiercer snow, a setting sun and several angry ice types, which didn't
last long thanks to Diesel already being what seemed like... irritated.
Daxton
couldn't believe his eyes, Diesel appeared to have developed an emotion
at that moment in time, only to watch it disappear as the two Glalie
ran off into the snow storm. Shaking off the shock, he continued on up
the mountain. They were there originally to tame the Registeel as much
as humanly possible.. maybe it was working? It was a while though,
before they reached the next cave. Daxton, nearly frozen with frost
covering his eyebrows, ducked into the second cave with Diesel,
thankfully, greeted by emptiness and darkness. Using some fire starter
and what burning materials he had, the man stoked a fire that would only
last several hours.
It was what was on the
other side of the mountain that interested him. There was an ancient
site, that throughout history was considered sacred to some ancient
monks, they idolized Registeel and his power. Apparently, Diesel had
something to do with this mountain, and hopefully bringing him here
would help. The only problem was that Daxton didn't know if it was cause
he attacked the monks, attacked the old village, damaged the mountain
in some way, or did something horrible OR good. But it didn't seem like
Diesel had that much power, maybe something happened that knocked the
Registeel off of it's power streak that it was so well-known for.
That
though, was only remaining to be seen. Hopefully Daxton could bond
further with this Pokemon, and grow a bond with it, something that
wouldn't break... and would hopefully help with the Registeel's
obedience issues.
He
couldn't rest, he couldn't sleep knowing how cold it was where he was
at, as well as knowing that the notorious, violent Registeel was out of
his ball. Daxton had all the trust he had put into all of his Pokemon,
even Diesel, but he couldn't risk going to sleep and allowing him to
attack wild Pokemon freely. That could cause a cave-in and many
unnecessary deaths. So he stayed up all night, all the way until the sun
rose, and got no rest.
Their trek began again,
but finally, at the end of this day, he achieved the goal of reaching
the top of the mountain. Now.. it wasn't that this mountain was so big,
it was snow covered, it was more of a matter that it was so far north,
it HAD to be snow covered. The mountain was relatively small, mostly a
hill, but still big enough to be classified, and on the edged of a
plate.
Turning and reaching out towards his
Registeel, he gave it a solid pat on the arm and nodded. The air was
different... free and light. A new sense came over Daxton and he felt
something had changed in the Pokemon. It was on the trek down the
mountain side that he realized what the problem was. Diesel wasn't just
attacking things cause it felt like doing it and being a complete
douche. It was because it didn't feel like Daxton was worthy of it.
Catching the force of nature wasn't enough for the Registeel... Diesel
wanted to see how far Daxton would go to train it. This act of bravery,
putting his life into the hands of a volatile, machine like Pokemon
without the rest of his team or his fighting/steel type, told Diesel
that Daxton was good enough for it.
Upon that realization, the Raymer boy felt like a total ass... not being able to see the truth in his own Pokemon. "You weren't being a jerk. You just didn't think I was worth your time... didn't you?" He questioned, only to be answered by some kind of garbling noise and a screech. Assuming that as a yes, he went on.
"If you thought that I wasn't strong enough for you... then why didn't you kill me? You had so many opportunities."
His questioned fell on snow though. Diesel didn't make any noise, just
turned away and left... leaving that man with mixed thoughts.
One
of the thoughts still echoed. "Does Diesel have human emotions?" His
tired eyes looked up to the now calm Registeel. It's eyes a faint
glowing tint of red, arms resting by it's side, showing no stress of
knowing that there are strangers outside of the door. "You... You're my special little case... that's what I'm gonna call, you know." The comment earned a warble of a noise, a look and then a glance back down at the floor.
It
was strange still, something so powerful, just sitting there, taking
his orders now, listening to his words, acknowledging him and behaving
like a captive Aggron on a full stomach. "Do you feel any kind of emotions?" He asked outwards, getting another garble and making him shake his own head. "I can't understand you... why am I still asking you questions and expecting you to answer?"
... Another garble.... He could've used Mica's psychic abilities to
tell him what Diesel was thinking... or Auxru's aura capabilities to
speak in his mind, but something told him to let sleeping Pangoro rest,
and to just believe in his strengths and instincts.
