Ramona Albarn stood proudly with hands firmly on her hips. A smile adorned her face and her attitude seemed confident, apparently oblivious to the sun that beat down relentlessly upon the girl and her area. However, having lived in a town known for being located near a volcano, the teenaged trainer felt almost at home; just another day in the Badlands of Kalos. Same reason as the last few times: she wanted some training done. With her, the young woman had brought three Pokemon to train: first was Jam, whom she felt needed some additional training in order to evolve into an Infernape. Second was her newest Pokemon, Rhythm the Honedge, along with Groove the Garchomp.
She’d had an idea about the fact that Rhythm was a sword, and wanted to see exactly how it would play out; Jam was pretty much the only one equipped for the job: Hunter’s hands, while capable of wielding a sword in theory, were certainly not ideal for the task, and though Ace had the most experience with blades had no fingers. Pretty much none of her Pokemon had enough fingers to adequately wield the blade Pokemon.
Groove was here simply because it appeared to be breeding season for Gabite and that meant many holes would be dug in search of treasure to assuage the Pokemon’s natural urge.
“Alright, you guys,” she announced, looking upon the trio of Pokemon and smiling. “Let’s get the day started with some warm ups!” The three nodded, the Honedge floating into the awaiting hand of its designated training buddy. The Fire-Fighter grasped the hilt of the bladed Pokemon and began going through a routine different sorts of swings while Groove began to burrow into the ground on a quest for shinies.
