APPEARANCE

Description: Kouki has a lanky build and slightly bisque tan skin, black and blue messy down hair, and grey eyes. As for his attire, he wears a navy blue hoodie vest, blue long-sleeved shirt with his shirt rolled up until his elbows, light blue long fingerless gloves with a single wristband on his right wrist, navy blue pants, and blue and light blue sneakers.

For his personal items, his bag is a blue and white backpack with a white Poke Ball logo on the middle and white wing logos on each of its pockets. For his roller skates, it is a detachable model and the wheels are colored blue and sliver. And as for his habits, he tends to not only throw his backpack to either side from him where he thought it's safe to put it and has a habit of spinning his favorite pen from his pocket whenever he's throwing a Poke Ball or he is in a deep thought.

PERSONALITY

Personality: Kouki is an unique boy as he may looked like a calm and serious boy who has knowledge about Pokemon battles and strategies, he has two sides hidden within him. One is his adventurous and active side whenever his desire of visiting all of the regions his father visited years ago always popped up. Another is his child-like curiosity as he is new to being a trainer and wanted to know about the items and how to use them. Overall, he is still mature for his age as he makes rational decisions and will often reject any poor choices, which I don't call it a split personality.

However, while he is always serious when he's not in his active or child side, he possessed a stubborn attitude, refusing to give up the task he take, dangerous or not, and will not give up on a situation that required for him to help or protect. Not only that, he is not only aggressive when his family or friends are in danger or threatened, but he has a short temper when someone mentions or mocked his age or height. Other than his fear of losing of his family and friends, he is claustrophobic and aichmophobic. Also, he's very fond of sweets and hi-tech toys due to his childish side.

Ambitions:

• To travel every region he heard from his father
• To win some Pokemon Gyms and tournaments
• To capture Honedge and the elusive Rotom
• To master and come up new and existing roller skating tricks to get to his destinations fast

HISTORY

History: Born in Viridian City, Kouki lived with his mother who is a breeder while his father is a travelling trainer, which he never seen him except when he returned and stayed with them for 1 week. Despite not seeing his father for most of his life, he still loved him no matter what. And whenever his father returned home, he often told him stories about his trips, such as visiting not only Johto, but other regions as well. And whenever he's gone during his birthday, he tended to sent him toys and sweets as birthday presents to his son.

But during his 5th and 6th birthdays, Kouki found something surprising as he got a Shinx and a Rufflet as a gift from his father, respectively when he was in Sinnoh and Unova. Not only that, he found two letters in each of his gifts. One said "to represent the light to guide him" and one said "to let you soar through your potential". Despite confused at the letters, he was still happy at his new companions.

When he was 8 years old, he saw some kids skating with roller skates, which he asked to try one due to his curiosity. Despite his stumbles at first, he started to like skating to the point where he asked his Dad to buy him his own, which he did as he sent it from Kalos. However at the same year, his father gave him books about Pokemon and Pokemon battles as gifts for his birthday along with his new roller skates. Although confused once again about these,  he started to piqued his interests in them.

And when he was 10 years old, the truth of his gifts revealed where a news from his father came which neither are news of an accident or tragedy, but a news of his Pokemon trainer license have been made for Kouki and he is now allowed to travel as long as his father returns. Although shocked at this announcement at first, he became excited, wanted to follow his footsteps as he started learning more about Pokemon as he remembered the words in the letter his father sent him:

"Go reach you dream and travel as much as you like, future traveler."

Now 11 years old, Kouki made some preparations before he leave for his new journey to battle and follow his father's footsteps as he gone to his father to get his birthday gift once again...

Role play Sample:

Kouki is not in a good mood, not because he woke up late, but because of his Pokemon are arguing who step on either tail. Needless to say, they are not happy and so does Kouki. "Come on, guys! Give me one good reason why you guys won't stop until I know who did it." But with more shouting from his Shinx and Rufflet, he's not getting happy any minute.

With more growling and crying about blaming each other, Kouki knew one thing to do to calm them down no matter what. And that is...

"If you guys won't shut up... I'LL STOP LETTING YOU GUYS RIDE MY RC CAR FOR A MONTH!!!"

With his voice gone from calm to aggressive, the two Pokemon stopped arguing as they hung their heads in guilt. Kouki then sighed in relief as he calmed down before he said, "Look, I don't like this any moment, but today's my birthday and I don't want you guys to squabble each other just because you guys accidentally trip into each other. So you guys should kiss and make up right now."

Seeing that he's right, his Shinx and Rufflet apologized to each other before they shake their paw and talon as a sign of reconciliation. With the small crisis is averted, Kouki continued to pack his things into his backpack until his father shouted downstairs, "Kou, come downstairs for a minute!"

Realized what this means, Kouki temporarily abandoned what he was doing to go meet up his father, but not before he turned his attention to his Pokemon. "Okay, guys. Behave and don't make a mess." Not wanted to let their trainer get angry again, his Shinx and Rufflet cried in agreement, which allowed Kouki to leave his room without any guilt as he closed the door behind him.
