some coincidences are deliberate
nada / 2 | 4 for Andrea this month. A bit slow if you ask me! / 315
After that lucky find earlier, Andrea was now determined to keep looking—because who knew what else she was going to get in this search? She then proceeded to go deeper into the area; not minding the fact that it was starting to get really hot out at this time. Wondering if there was something else that she could do, she then remembered she could do what her younger brother did whenever he was out here—she remembered asking him about it in passing, but hadn’t actually applied it until now… because her initial theory was to try and have a Rain Dance over the area; but then realized the entire terrain would turn icky and absolutely muddy… therefore she scratched that. Instead, she then sent out Lexie, her Milotic; and watched as the tender ‘mon made her appearance—the first in a long time. “Hello Lex… I’m here today, looking for treasure. I’m going to need your help…” she trailed off.
The Milotic then looked at her inquiringly, before following her mistress off into the “wilderness”; until she came to a stop and then dropped her backpack. “Well, this is it. Uhh, Lexie? Can you… aim a Water Pulse down at the dirt, so I don’t keep digging up dry stuff all the time? Don’t do it at full power, otherwise it would be muddy when I start digging. Do it over here,” she continued, pointing the tip of the shovel towards a promising-looking patch of land. The Milotic then regarded her in confusion, before aiming a toned-down Water Pulse right at the spot where she’d pointed the shovel; and then backed off to one side as Andrea then proceeded to attack the slightly more malleable dirt in the soaked area. She then knew that whatever her brother was doing was much easier—because it made dislodging whole, entire shovelfuls of dirt much easier!
