They've been walking for a bit now, and Stellar fancies they are pretty deep into the badlands.
"How far are we in, I wonder..." Stellar murmured, hugging the cloak closer to her. The sands gotten a little worse inwards, and Spiara is huddling close to her, the Litwick carefully making sure her flames doesn't burn her trainer.
Aria blocking most of the sands help, too, to a certain degree. They finally settled down behind a rock to rest a bit, Stellar taking a deep breath of air without sand.
"Well, it is harsh in here," she sighed, "Let's take a break for a bit." She closed her eyes a little as a gust of particularly strong wind blew over.
The strong wind uncovered a sun stone....and promptly covered it back.
Spiara is the only one that noticed, the ghost not being affected by the sands as much as it is being affected by the strong winds, instead. The ghost squeaked, but the squeaked was drowned down by another large gust of wind, leading Stellar to cover Spiara harder to make sure the Litwick doesn't fly away.
The large gust of wind blew several stones across their feet, to reveal...

Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found RELIC CROWN ! A crown made in a civilization about 3,000 years ago. A maniac will buy it for a high price.
Stellar released her tight grip on Spiara with a sigh, taking that small, brief moment to rest a little. At least in this brief moment of stillness, Spiara won't be carried away by the wind.
"Maybe I should return you back to the ball," The woman mused, but she stopped when the Litwick let out a panicked shriek and shook her head repeatedly, before diving to the ground and started digging. Spiara is determined to be useful, a little sand won't stop her! The Litwick let out a series of chirps and squeaks, digging with vigour, sand spitting out to a small mound behind her.
Stellar blinked, before chuckling lightly and reaching out to dig at the ground too, briefly stopping only to shoot Aria an exasperated, but fond look. Aria shrugged, her tail curling forward to encompass the two of them, her giant form hulking forward and nuzzling Stellar a little. Once in a while, the giant would claw at the earth to help, leaving behind a massive chunk of hole.

OOC :: Oh, oops. Apologies. I'll keep that in mind.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found RARE BONE ! A bone that is extremely valuable for Pokémon archeology. It can be sold for a high price to shops.
Spiara stared at the bone in her tiny, tiny hands. Sure, the bone is one big bone, but the Pokemon had no way of knowing it's a rare bone, the value in it's rarity rather than visual, and to the ghost type it is merely a bone, something pretty common to be seen among ghosts and spoken with casualness. There's simply no value in bones and old dust, at least, not comparing to the shiny, shiny stones they head out here to look for.
The Litwick chuck the bone aside with a huff, a little annoyed that she couldn't find anything rarer, the irony lost on the little ghost type. Stellar had been digging on another part, so she missed the bone find altogether, and Spiara can't help but be slightly glad because of that. At least Stellar won't have to look at the failure of a find she found.
"What's wrong, Spiara?" Stellar asked, slightly concerned at the huff that the Litwick had sounded. Did the harsh wind earlier did something? Litwick technically looks like a candle after all, will something bad happen?
The Litwick shook her head furiously, instead squeaking softly and pointing to the earth. Let's just continue digging, yes? was what she's trying to gesture. She's fine, really, her fire is burning brightly purple and there's nothing wrong.
Aria, from above them, snorted softly, having seen everything. Spiara is trying to hard to prove herself, that much is obvious, but Aria at least, could figure out why. Raven, Stellar's Umbreon, did mention Spiara having been extremely lonely before she got caught, and seeing how helpful and kind the ghost type is, Aria has an inkling why. The Steel type reached out and gently moved some of the pile of dirt away from Stellar before her claws seems to hit something...
Spiara stared at the shiny stone that had clacked against Aria's claw.
For a moment, the world seems to stop for a minute for the ghost type, watching with wide eyes as Stellar's face light up at the discovery, holding it up and grinning from ear to ear. Aria grunted softly at her trainer's smile, but the Litwick bet that Aria must be extremely pleased to have made their trainer so happy.
It's not fair.
It's not FAIR!
Why would Aria, who is already so well loved, find the stone instead of her, her who had digged so hard and risked getting her flames snuffed out by the desert wind and why!? The Litwick felt tears welling up at the corner of her eyes, and the tiny candle Pokemon sniffed quietly.
It's not fair.
It's not faaaaaair! The Litwick saw red, her abandonment and the risk of getting abandoned again getting into her head. What if she's useless because of this? What if she's released back into her cruel kin, who play pranks on human being and loved their suffering?
Her fire flared up and Spiara shrieked, for once looking like the horrifying life suckign Pokemon her kind is famous for. She tackled Aria, sobbing and shrieking in the same time, not that that had any effect on the large, steel type. Spiara is still too young and inexperienced to cause any damage, after all.
"Spiara!" Stellar stood up in alarm, reaching out to hold the rampaging fire Pokemon. She should have expected it, really, but Stellar had grown up trusting her Pokemon, and she had not raised other fire types after Sae for a very, very long time.
"Ouch!" Stellar winced, drawing her hand back in a hurry at being burnt.
Spiara immediately froze, hearing the pained sound, and the Litwick turned around slowly, guiltily. The little candle is obviously crying, now, even as Aria's shadow casted over her, the gentle giant reaching out to check on her trainer.
Stellar patted her hand a little. It isn't too bad, really, something that will heal in a day or two. The Litwick floated over gently, sniffing and her rampage having ended. She mumbled a string of soft squeaks, apologizing for the rough flames. Sorry sorry sorry
"It's alright," Stellar offered the child Pokemon a smile, "Come on, let's go back first. You must be tired for helping so much." She reached out, a little tentatively (the last time she got burn was when sae just evolved, which was ages ago) before scooping the Litwick up, comforting it.
Stellar looked up at Aria for a minute, eyes meeting the great giant in a silent conversation. They will have to figure out why. They will have to reassure the child.
