elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.
EPOCH is PG-13. Proboards’ Terms of Service:
Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.
"So there's this stone," Stellar talked, even when her cloak covers her mouth and leave her voice muffled. She's sure her companion can hear her though, so she continued, "Sy and Argenta reacted weirdly to it. We found it around here, Ria, so I figured we can take a look around here again, maybe find a clue or two before we go town-hopping for a friendly professor for an explanation."
Behind her, the massive Aggron nodded patiently, honestly curious about the stone. Aggron's have very long lives, so in that sense Aria was actually pretty young, just really experienced. However, she remains a trainer's Pokemon, and was raised more in captivity than wild, so the only thing she can assume the stone was was some kind of human drug that seems to produce weird results regardless of species. Still, it was rare that something new pops up, especially one that caught Stellar's interest in a curious, child-like adventure manner, so Aria figured the experience was worth it...maybe.
"Spiara?" Stellar looked down at the Litwick cuddled to her, "You okay?" The last time she had brought Argenta, the baby reacted badly, but Spiara just nodded. The harsh winds, while uncomfortable to the Litwick, was something the ghost type refuse to let it bother her. Spiara is growing up; she refuse to remain acting like a child!
"That's great," Stellar smiled, "Now, let's search together for any clues, okay?"
The Litwick nodded furiously, dashing outwards before nearly gotten blown away by the harsh winds if Stellar hadn't catch her back in time. The three of them share chuckles a little, before Stellar lowered the Litwick to the ground, using her as a lantern of sorts, trying to find things on the ground. Aria faithfully shielded the two of them, taking the brunt of the sands, which did nothing to her metallic armor. If anything, she looks like the fearsome guardian of horror, if not for the affectionate curl of her tail around Stellar.
A water stone, well, while valuable, is not she's here for.
Stellar giggled as Spiara took up the first glinting stone she could find and waved it enthusiastically. "Wrong stone, Spiral," she replied, "That's a water stone. It evolves some of you, well, not you, I think. I don't think you need a water stone."
The Litwick look slightly crestfallen at not being helpful, and in a childish fit of pouting, threw the water stone as far as the little ghost could before Stellar could say anything else. Then, Spiara dived back to digging, even if she's not the best at it, much to Stellar's amusement, who patted her softly before helping the ghost type as well.
Aria let out an amused grunt, bending down to both provide shelter and using her large claws to rake a good amount of sands whenever the two of them needed it.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found RELIC VASE ! A vase made in a civilization about 3,000 years ago. A maniac will buy it for a high price.
Stellar's eyes shone at the Relic Vase. She had grown a kind of fondness for archaeological items in her later years after all, and even if she has no natural talent to discern the value of such objects, it doesn't stop her from being utterly amazed by one. Already she could see his reaction to this, and for a minute, Stellar wanted to grab the vase.
She jolted when she felt Spiara tugging the sleeves of her clothing, concerned. The Litwick had gotten afraid at the intense look in Stellar's eyes, to the point of madness, one could even say. A concerned claw tapped her shoulder, and Stellar look up to her Aggron.
Aria shook her head. She would know. the Aggron was there when they first met him.
Yes.
The past should stay in the past.
Besides, she has Plume, Sam and Sy to honor him; what's the value of an old vase, which could or could not be valuable, comparing to that guy's original Pokemon, his gift and another named after him? There's no comparison. The memory was already honored.
Stellar placed the old vase down into a hole that Aria raked up quickly, letting the Aggron dumped the massive amount of sand in her claws on top of the vase, effectively burying it away.
Stellar picked up the marvelous stone, feeling as though as she touched something electric. It's a different feel from the previous stone though, which had been icy cold. This one feels like a raging inferno quelled into a tiny stone, hot enough to know its hot, but yet, still touchable.
This is truly curious.
Spiara is cheering happily now, and as the Litwick dances about in celebration, Stellar held up the stone for Aria to see.
"Curious, no?" she asked, before tucking it into her bag, "it seems to hurt you guys though, so no touching. It is so very interesting." With that, she stood up and stretched, reaching for her water bottle only to realize that, oops, she didn't bring any water.
What luck.
"Let's take a break for a minute, then we'll come back," Stellar had convinced a very determined Litwick to take a break first. Spiara can be so eager, at times.
