The day was awfully hot this time. Amber walked across a digging site with her shovel over her shoulder. A Flygon hovered beside her and followed. Mystic, who had recently evolved, wanted to get in on the digging action. The Flygon felt right at home in sand and dirt. Amber smiled as she saw the Flygon looking around. Her evolution was quick, which must have been a weird experience. She was honestly quite surprised that Mystic had managed to evolve that quickly. After their trip today, Amber had planned on getting some training in for her.
Once the two got to their area, the Flygon quickly began digging through the ground. Her claws shoved loads of dirt over her shoulder and soon a large pile of dirt began to pile up. Amber wasn't even sure if she was needed today. Mystic seemed to be getting all of the work done. The Flygon, who seemed eager to test out her new body, was wasting no time in simply digging through the ground and finding whatever she could.

The trip today was one of the first times that Amber simply let her Pokemon do the digging. Every time that she had returned from one of these trips, her muscles were as sore as hell. She wasn't the strongest of girls either. She had enough strength to hold her own, but to spend possibly hours just digging? Not anymore. Besides, her Ground type Pokemon enjoyed the dirt. Fang did as well too, but today he was back at the Pokemon Center enjoying a nice cool path. Mystic had popped up from under the ground before Amber, a wrecked crown was upon her head.
Amber leaned forward to stare at the crowd and motioned for Mystic to go back underneath. "Naw, it doesn't look too interesting. We're looking for like spheres or something, k?" She said. The Flygon nodded and gently placed the crown away before she dug her way back underground, looking for whatever she could find that seemed interesting.

Only 30 minutes had passed before Mystic had reappeared. However, the Flygon simply shook her head in a disappointed manner and dug her way back underground. Amber huffed and rested her elbow on her knee as the minutes passed again. She pulled out her PokeNav and scrolled through a few notes and checked a map or two of some cities before she heard a rumbling again. From below, the Flygon popped up. This time, Mystic emerged from the ground completely and shook off the extra dirt before flying her way over to Amber.
The Flygon landed and held a small stone in her hand, offering it to Amber as she waited for her to take it. Amber stood up from the steps and took the sphere, holding it to the light to get a better look. There was no doubt it was a Mega Stone. However, she had no idea what Pokemon it was for. The colors were nothing like she had saw before, and she was sure it wasn't one that belonged to any of her Pokemon. But she knew that Mega Stones were rare, so passing it up would be a idiot move. She pocketed the stone and gave a thumbs up to the Flygon. "Good job today! Let's go back to the Pokemon Center and I'll treat you to some ice cream." She said as she began walking, Mystic close behind with a happy face.
