She wasn't surprised. Fang laid on the porch of the office. His eyes were closed, pretending to be asleep. Amber frowned and walked up to him, lightly hitting him on the head with the end of her shovel. "Come on, Fang. I'm not gonna dig by myself." She said. However, that was not very convincing to the Mightyena. He simply rolled off to his side and glared up at her whining. She shook her head and turned around, putting the shovel on her shoulder. "Fine, fine. Don't help me. That just means that you won't get ice cream when we're done..."

3... 2... 1...

And Fang was suddenly right behind her, new found energy kept his tail wagging. Amber shook her head in disappointment and walked off to one of the digging sites. All she had to say was something about ice cream and he was there. Fang was lucky he didn't get sick from it easily. Though, there was that one time she let him down a whole bowl. Which was a huge mistake. However, both she and Fang learned their lesson then.

Their digging began once they stepped foot in the site. Amber shoved the shovel into the ground and began tossing dirt behind her while Fang popped in and out of the ground, looking for whatever he could find that was interesting.

They had been digging for well over an hour. Amber was pooped. She fell down on the ground and laid down on her back, groaning as she shielded her eyes from the sun above. "Nothing!" She exclaimed as she rolled over on the ground. There was nothing of interest. All she had found were bones and pieces of relics, not even the full things. That was frustrating for her. She turned again to see Fang making a large hole for himself. Every second she saw a large pile of dirt being flung out of the hole. Groaning in frustration, Amber picked herself up from the ground and grabbed her shovel. She walked over to the large pit. Looking inside, she saw the Mightyena paws deep in dirt.

"Come on Fang, we should leave." Amber said. However, the Mightyena had stopped digging and appeared to be pulling something out of the ground. She raised an eyebrow and jumped in, skidding across the dirt wall and walking up to Fang. She grabbed the Mightyena from behind, tugging him back from the stomach. Whatever it was, it was stuck in the ground. Finally, with the strength of both of them, they pulled a rock out of the ground. Fang turned around and dropped the rock in Amber's hands. She held the smooth rock in her hands. It was a Mega Stone alright, but she wasn't sure which one. It glowed with flame like oranges and reds. It didn't matter what stone it was, though. She was just happy they had found something. And now they could head back to the Pokemon Center and get some ice cold water.
