The Larvitar in front of her is as grumpy as ever.
She have no idea what she's doing wrong; she even took the nurse's advice and placed the Larvitar in the breeder's house for a bit.
But the Larvitar is as grumpy as ever.
The Larvesta that is beside the Larvitar keep shooting dirty looks at the ground type. Valhari, as Stellar came to name the Larvesta, seems to dislike the Larvitar quite a bit, for one reason or another. Maybe it's because of how they first met, fighting head on for no reason at all.
"You can go, you know," Stellar told the Larvitar, who ignored her, but yet, stayed where it is. Strange, the Larvitar won't leave, even when she gives the option. Stellar can't figure out how, but either way, the Larvitar still looks grumpy and Stellar feels bad.
Valhari let out a chirp like sound, pushing the Larvitar as though as to ask her to get away from here. The Larvitar replied back with a grumble, but stayed rock steady, much to Stella small amusement and Valhari's disgruntlement.
The sand begun to whip around her, and she can't help but notice that it doesn't hurt that much anymore, as though as she's numb to whipping sands. She suppose she got used to it after a while, but it is still disconcerting to see sand in the middle of a forest.
Before she could do anything, however, the Larvitar perked up, and shot off like a bullet. Stellar wanted to question, 'why now?' to run off, but the sands got heavier and eventually, she reach down to pick up Valhari, who is not immune to sand, and her hand reached out to pull a pokeball.
Before she could do anything, however, the sand died down.
The Larvitar came back, and Stellar has no idea why.
Either way, whatever she did, it caused the sands to die down. Ability? Another wild Pokemon?
"Just what did you do?" she murmured, but there is no answer, only the Larvitar staring at her with piercing eyes, a thought behind those gleam. There's something she is asking for, and Stellar couldn't figure out what, much to the woman's annoyance and chagrin.
The bug type looked more annoyed than Stellar, though that expression wasn't seen because Stellar was carrying her. To Valhari, though, the Larvita has successfully win something, or became cool without even trying and it's driving the fire bug crazy.
It disliked the Larvitar before. Now they are positively rivals.
So when the next rustle sounded, Valhari jumped off Stellar's hands almost immediately, attacking with a shriek. She sent out a couple of Leech Life and Ember, and succeeded in scaring whatever it is away before the threat even show itself.
The fire bug landed beside the Larvitar, and threw a smug look at the ground type, expecting awe. Instead, the Larvitar ignored Valhari, and the fire bug was furious, chattering and shrieking.
That was what Valhari thought, as the Larvitar had the nerve to ignore her! How could she do that, when Valhari did something seriously cool too.
In frustration, the Fire Bug blew out Ember at the Larvitar, who merely shrug it off, but returned the attack with a cold, cold stare. Valhari chirped angrily, but a cold stare was all she got back.
"That's enough, isn't it?" Stellar sighed, crouching down to pet the bug type. She has no idea why this two seems to dislike each other so much, but either way, if they are going to resort to attacking each other again, she will return them to their pokeballs. This is going long enough as it is; Stellar will probably walk away soon, and from then, it's up to the Larvitar to follow, or not.
With all the chaos, they barely heard a tinier rustling sound, and in a moment, it's gone.
The newcomer that came out randomly, dropping from a tree is a Heracross.
Now, Stellar is used to wild Pokemon not disturbing them unless she angered them somehow, in which they will attack back, obviously. Maybe they have been on this guys' turf for too long, or maybe it's just furious at them for no absolute reason, though Stellar's putting full bet on the former reason.
"Girls....let's just leave," Stellar carefully stood up, backing away. She sees no absolute reason to battle a wild Pokemon now, honestly.
Valhari thinks otherwise.
The fire bug launched forward with an Ember attack. The fire move hits, but it isn't enough to knock the Heracross just yet. Now the Heracross is really mad, going for a Counter attack, knocking the bug type away.
A movement, and Stellar made a sound of surprise. The Larvitar had suddenly used Rock Slide, hurting the Heracross more, but the proud look on the rock Pokemon's face was wiped when the Heracross threw it aside, not quite fainted yet.
Before the two could stand up and fight again, a loud snarl, and a Mightyena jumped above the two Pokemon, sending the Heracross flying backwards with one, powerful Ice Fang.
Valhari and the Larvitar looked back, to see Stellar in a defensive pose, pokeball in her hands. She offered the two a soft smile. "Not going to let you guys faint, hmm?"
The Heracross was not seen again, but another rustling sound was heard....
Her Mighteyna bared her fangs, and the Bulbasaur scuttled away. Not much of a threat, and possibly accidentally coming across the battlefield without intending to do anything.
Stellar sighed again.
"Now that there's that," she mumbled, "I'm heading back. Val, Ly, let's go....as for you..." she look at the Larvitar uncertainly.
The Larvitar jerked her head away, still ignoring Stellar. The movement of her body, though, shows that she's following back, whether Stellar likes it or not.
