APPEARANCE
Description: Standing at exactly 5'11 Steven is a relatively tall young man slightly passed his prime, through years and years of climbing and exploring mountains he's extremely fit although his particular choice of clothing hides it well. He also has burn on his lower back which he hides.
In terms of Clothing one would normally find Mr. Stone in a his normal suit, simple black pants with a specially customized jacket showing two zig-zags on each side of the jacket. Iron cuffs clasped on each shoulder. Beneath the suit he wears a white button down and of course a bright red tie. At times he is seen with his old white Champion cloak.

Outside of the workplace, mainly when he's out exploring one would normally find him in the same thing as the suit was made for strenuous activities as well. However it's entirely possible to find him in the standard 'Hiker' clothing as well albeit much thinner.
[/div]
PERSONALITY
Personality: The best word to describe Steven would be aversive. Although extremely stubborn and his will similar to the pokemon he wields matches finely tempered steel, Steven prefers to avoid immediate confrontation.
This stems from his father constantly pushing him farther and farther into taking over Devon Corp something Daigo doesn't want in the slightest, thus he's learned to avoid his father by traveling seeing as he isn't the interim champ anymore he has much more freedom to do that.
It's also why caves and mountains worldwide suit him, when in the wilderness it's almost impossible to reach him in person or by device. Despite his naturally aversive personality he's extremely charismatic and profficient when he needs to be, although he dislikes confrontation he's able to handle it, and handle it extremely well at that having led the Elite 4 Unlocking the Regi trio and having to hoard off various press conferences due to his previous titles and his father's business he's learned to adapt with press, and the social world around him.
Steven is also extremely hard on himself, silently always blaming himself first when things go wrong, forcing himself to go the extra mile at all times to the point it's obsessive due to this when in battle or training with other he can be overbearing to those that surround him, it's for these reason Steven doesn't have many friends his closest being the current Hoenn champion, Wallace who he's known since childhood.
Steven is also quite the avid reader, in terms of genres he spends his time exploring both mysteries and scientific journals especially ones focusing more on the planet itself, based on that it's relatively easy to tell he's more of an analytical thinker, other than his reading this shows in battles, his known strategy is to pick on the opponents weaknesses.
Finally Steven is actually relatively sheltered seeing as he's lived a pretty privileged life it isn't surprising that he's always been a bit dense when it comes to certain subjects, Love being the main one. However through years of travel and being exposed to the world these 'sheltered' moments are rare nowadays.
Ambitions: Steven has two dreams both of them leading to the destruction of the fate he feels is inevitable for him, that fate being the eventual takeover of Devon Corp. It isn't that he hates his father or the company he created he simply doesn't want to become the suit watching over the business he feels it'd limit his travels and everything else he enjoys doing, because taking over a corporation does just that. That being said after the incident that killed him, and almost destroyed Hoenn he's become extraordinarily interested in legendary pokemon similarly to Cynthia he's begun following the myths and lore of legendary pokemon specifically away from the Sinnoh and Hoenn regions. His dream in this regard is to become one of the leading professors on the topic of pokemon mythology in the world..... Oh and also collect a bunch of rocks.

HISTORY
History: Born in the ever growing Rustburo City Daigo was son to Sonia, Tsuwabuki and Anthony Richard Stone. The two weren't married at the time of their child's conception and were on the verge of leaving each other regardless thus the child was given two names, The name known worldwide, Steven Stone was given to him by his father while Daigo Tsuwabuki was given to him by his mother.
Steven's early life was privileged to say the least as his father's company had just grown exponentially money was pouring in leading to the best tutors, food and home money could provide. His mother and father had married when he turned 5 and all was good in the Stone household.
At the age of 7 his mother extremely unhappy with her husband simply decided to up and leave the man who was too focused on his work, and she decided she'd take Steven with her. A few weeks after Steven's birthday under the guise of a mother-son camping trip before they left as a birthday present she gave Steven a Beldum and an Aron before taking the boy out into the woods. She'd bought plane ticket two days prior and from Mt. Chimney they'd make it to the airport and fly to some faraway region, which exactly? No one can recall.
As the two hiked up the mountain something went extremely wrong, specifically a pokemon, A wild rampaging Camrupt attacked the two it happened in a flash before he knew it his mother had a flaming hole through her stomach and a severe burn had made its way across his own lower back. From that point He managed to hide until finally the Camrupt left the small destroyed camp. The next couple of hours happened all too quickly, a pair of hikers came across the boy crying over his deceased mom. He was brought down the mountain his father was sent to get him and quickly the entire incident was swept under the rug to save face. To this day only a handful of people know what happened to Sonia Tsuwabuki.
For an entire year or so after that Steven had gone mute, slowly erasing the events that had happened before him locking them away, he stayed in this stupor until he came across a young boy around his age. A friendly blue haired young man who slowly and unknowingly managed to bring Daigo out of this traumatized state, only for his father to realize he'd locked away all memories of his mother and the incident entirely. If one were to ask them what happened to his mother today he honestly wouldn't know as according to his memory she simply 'left one day', other than this he was left with a strong fear of fire types.
The next 10 or so years consisted of Steven continuing his studies both in the ways of Devon Corp, and surprisingly pokemon training. With his Beldum and Aron he showed great prowess in the ways of battling to the point his father allowed him to take his Pokemon Journey....

[/div]Steven was out in one of Hoenn's many caves in which some haven't even been discovered or really acknowledge by anyone. He loved to distract himself in the caves, get away from the stomach gripping reality. He didn't like what followed him up the road. He was wearing his suit as usual and was accompanied by his close child hood Pokemon, Aron. As old as it was it always acted as if it were a baby which Steven didn't mind because Aron was great company to have with him during his travels. Being in a dark cave that hasn't most likely been discovered by really any trainer was just exiting. What could be awaiting him ahead? Maybe some fossils or even some nice rare rocks. Aron was in his arms as he slowly walked down the dark cave path which was rough. He didn't want to loose Aron in this place. While holding Aron, he also had in his hand a lit lamp to guide the way and give some light into what seemed to be a never ending path. It was silent and only his footsteps could be heard as they echoed back from the cave walls. Aron who seemed rather still in his arms, began to quietly whine. Still walking, Steven looked down at the small Pokemon and wondered what was wrong. Trying to figure out why Aron was whining, the Pokemon began to shake. This time Steven had stopped and put the lamp down gently on the ground and held up the small Aron in his hands.
"Hey, What's wrong Aron?"
Obviously not getting a reply he would understand, he still felt Aron shake more and whine. The Pokemon seemed to be very nervous or scared about something. Wondering what it could be, he held the Pokemon close to him in his arms and began to pet him. He was trying to soothe the small Pokemon from whatever it was feeling. Being distracted by Aron, Steven hadn't noticed a wild Pokemon deep within the cave sneak up on him in the darkness. The lamp didn't light much of the spot of where he was and couldn't see really that far. Aron had begun to calm a bit to his trainers soft touch but had immediately noticed the wild Pokemon and just got even worse than earlier. Steven was now really worried about Aron who was shaking really bad and seemed to try say something to him. He wished that he could understand what his Pokemon were trying to tell him at times. Before Steven knew it, he heard a deep low ring and glaring red eyes pierce through the darkness and look straight at him. Steven's eyes widened and froze. The wild Pokemon not hesitating and giving Steven no time to move out of the way or call out his Pokemon was attacked. Covering Aron with his body, he felt his back hit against the wall knocking the breath out of him. Falling right down, he tried to regain his breathing. Not exactly being able to see in the darkness, he couldn't tell his surroundings but could still see the red angry eyes close by. Aron was squirming in his arms from how scared it was but he wasn't going to let Aron run off from fear.
