Tenma felt his lips purse unintentionally as he gently walked through the entrance of the little town. He hummed, quietly noting the odd little changes that had occurred in the last few years he hadn't been there. A few new buildings had gone up and some of the houses had obviously undergone some renovation and new paint. He stopped awkwardly at a three way stop, hands shoved into the pockets of his coat, blocking the window wind from biting at his bare hands; Tenma rarely wore gloves.
For a moment, he let his golden eyes roam over the weather worn house in front of him; recalling how the house used to be his place of stay a few years ago. After a moment of silently observing the house, he turned to the right, beginning the familiar walk towards the Pokemon Tower. The House was hardly his place of stay now. He sort of just stayed wherever was welcome to him. Most places were welcome to him.
There was a soft coo and gently, Tenma touched the soft fur of Tae's tail, the small sentret gently padding her paws into her trainer's hair, cheek rubbing gently against his. Her paws were tiny but they padded somewhat anxiously into his hair, clearly seeking warmth from the winter air. Tenma laughed, turning down a familiar street towards the Pokemon Tower. It had been awhile since he had been in Lavender Town and also a while since he went to his old haunt. He had been there a few years ago, as a resident while he lived in the area and in Kanto as he was getting adjusted to being in the region. It was during that time that he met some of the people he considered his odd family, Team Rocket.
Tenma hummed when Tae sort of bashed her paw into his skull and he patted the pokemon's head. She cooed, a little pathetic sound, in an attempt to make her trainer turn around. Tenma gently poked the pokemon's tail. "I'm not turning around you know. And besides, we'll just be heading towards the tower for a short bit." Tenma chided lightly. Tae cooed again and Tenma patted the small pokemon's head. He knew almost instantly that was not the response that his pokemon wanted and the small normal type rodent proceeded to bash her tiny paws into his well kept black strands, tugging (or rather, trying to tug) him in the direction of the pokemon center. In no time, his hair was a lovely mock-birds nest and Tenma was a little bit exasperated. "C'mon Tae. It's just going to be a few minutes. Let Loon hang out with other ghost pokemon for a little bit."
At that, one of the pokeballs on his hip rocked vigorously, the Drifloon inside clearly happy with the prospect. A second later, Tenma, with his messy now birds nest of a hairdo, was blinking down as his Sentret bounded down from his neck and tapped the pokeball holding Loon open. The ghost pokemon popped out and Tenma's brows rose in amusement as the two obviously engaged in a negotiations, complete with chittering from his Sentret, to "Ballooning" motions of his Drifloon and the occasional hum. After a moment of stupidly standing, Tenma sighed with some defeat and gently crouched next to his chittering pokemon. Somehwere in the amusing (to Tenma anyways) pokemon conversation, Hail, his swinub had been let out and the small pig pokemon snorted her opinions.
After a few minutes, Tenma couldn't help the grin that spread over his face because little Tae was starting to look unhappy and Loon was floating almost smugly. With a shake of his head, the Team Rocket member asked lightly, "So, are we going to the tower or not?"

Backseat Breeding! Increasing your reproductive success to 1+ | [atrb=vAlign,top][atrb=style,border-left: 1.5px solid;]Bessa sat outside of her van in a collapsible camping chair holding a steaming styrofoam cup of Sawbuck French Vanilla coffee in her bare fingers. She was parked just out of the fire lane zone in front of the Lavender Town Radio Tower. She was there on several things, one was to get some free advertising in since they had a habit of talking about what was outside their windows. The other was to get a hold of another pokemon, preferably female ghost or otherwise. She looked over at her two pokemon dressed up in tiny tots winter wear. Arnold was lifting his I-beam over his head and striking a pose like his snowman monument was doing and Bunny was sitting there shivering slightly in rage as she sat inside of a cardboard box that said "Free to a Good Home". Bessa couldn't understand why she was getting such dirty looks from passersby over sitting outside with her pokemon. Though the fact that it appeared she was giving away small children because of the way she had dressed them was lost on her. It didn't help that her business was called Backseat Breeding and that she had "GIMME THE BUSINESS" playing from the van's radio as she sat there bobbing her head to the beat and murmuring the lyrics. "Gimme the business, Gimme the business I need your business, so gimme the business. " she murmured over the edge of her cup before taking a sip and looking around. It was then she saw a very thin young man looking down at his gathering of pokemon in front of him. That's when her eyes fell on the raccoon looking one and she bit her lower lip, it was so cute! It would be the perfect replacement for Bunny! "Your time has come," she muttered into her cup as Bunny slowly turned her head to look at Bessa with the glare of a thousand suns. If only she would just burst into flame and become a pile of ash she and Arnold could run off together back home where they belonged instead of traveling around like some sort of mobile whore house. | | |

Tenma resisted the urge to laugh as the conversation between his pokemon went on. Tae, little adorable Tae had gotten so sulky her ears drooped and Loon was beginning to be so smug he was puffed up in this manner that reminded Tenma of a balloon, never mind the fact that Loon was a balloon pokemon. After a moment of just watching his sulking sentret, (the raccoon pokemon lost the argument it seemed) Tenma picked up the furry pokemon, laughing as she unhappily bashed a paw into his cheek (almost knocking off his glasses). Unfazed, Tenma just rubbed her furry head and shook his head as Loon floated happily around his face, his string like appendages tossed happily in the cold winter air. At his feet, Hail snorted, nudging his shoes and Tenma knelt to pat the pig pokemon, just knowing instinctively that the swinub was happy they had a destination. Being a ice-type pokemon, Hail had no problems with the cold weather but she didn’t mind the nice bed or couches a Pokemon Center provided.
"Alrighty then. To the Pokemon Tower we go." Tenma turned, watching with fond amusement as his Loon ballooned up again and Hail bounced at his feet. Tae made a cooing sound again and settled for padding up his jacket to wrap around his neck, face pressed up against his. He patted her head again and began walking towards the Tower. Loon drifted up to the front, a few feet in front of him and did a happy loop-de-loop with a bright sound. Tenma smiled and Tae let out an angry hiss. "Take it easy Loon. Don’t rub it in or we’ll just head to the Center.” Tenma laughed gently when the ghost pokemon almost deflated and turned wide eyes at him. Then Loon squeaked and flapped, arms becoming little yellow blurs. A moment later, the ghost pokemon floated back towards his trainer, planted the equivalent of a kiss to Tae’s furry head and floated obediently around Tenma. Tenma just shook his head. Really, his pokemon were a riot.
He hadn’t gotten really far when he noticed a few residents mutter and point at a parked van near the radio tower. Curiosity piqued him and with a low hum to his pokemon, Tenma turned towards the van. As he drew closer, he was aware of a woman sitting outside the van. The teenager did a double take in surprise when he saw two toddler-sized creatures with her, one lifting an I-Beam and the other in a box. It took a moment before he realized they weren’t, on any level, children. The one lifting an I-Bean wasn’t a pokemon he was familiar with personally. He had heard of a pokemon of that sort from the Unova region and the bunny (which was in the box) was from the Hoenn region, that Tenma knew. He noted that the two pokemon were dressed in clothing meant for little tots, winter clothing. The Team Rocket member looked down at his pokemon for a moment, contemplating. That was a good idea as winter in Kanto, (and Johto) did get awfully cold. Sadly little tots winter wear didn’t quite fit his pokemon. Tenma laughed. ”If I didn’t come by, I would have though you were giving away children.” It was then that he noticed the writing on the box.
Free to a Good Home.
His brows rose and he grinned slightly at the woman, ”I guess you are giving away something.” On his neck, Tae let out a sound and bounded down, curious about the bunny in the box. Loon floated close, hovering above the box and Hail poked the box with her snout, sniffing the other pokemon. The bunny was hardly a ghost pokemon but it wasn’t often that his pokemon saw something in a box that wasn’t a gift or food items. Trainers they met rarely placed their pokemon in a box. Even in jest.
