"Oh believe me Cyn, It's not the muffins I'm worried about", Vinny said with a confident smirk on his face with his arms folded, looking upward, "It's the sprinklers that I'm worried about!" As soon as the burst of electricity made contact with the box of muffins it promptly burst into flames, the flames themselves weren't that big but it was enough. The smell of burning pumpkin muffins soon filled the warehouse, followed by that was the noise of the sprinklers turning on. That was when VInny instantly regretted his idea. "Oh crap my jacket!" Vinny cried as he noticed that he jacket was now getting covered in water. He couldn't get it now, he was in a battle! At least he would be able to dry it at the dinner afterwards...he had really shot himself in the foot.
Unfortunately for Meryl she wasn't able to avoid all of the Night slash. Meryl cried out in pain as she fell to the floor barely being able to catch herself. She couldn't much more of the deadly attacks Claw was using. Vinny cringed as he saw Meryl in serious pain. However, he saw another opening as Claw went to go use Swords Dance.
"Alright Meryl now use Disarming voice!" Vinny commanded once again. In all honestly he was kidding tired of using the same move over and over again, hopefully his plan had caught Cyn and Claw off guard. Meryl repeated the same tactic by yelling sending a bunch of disoriented pink hearts fly towards Claw. Meryl's hearted started beating faster, she needed to catch a break soon.
"Quick Meryl pick up the box using psychic! Alright..now throw it!" Vinny commanded. Meryl started breathing more heavily as she picked up the burnt box and threw it at the ground near Claw. It wasn't close to do any damage (Well aside from splinters) but it should have been enough to catch Claw and Cyn both off guard.
"Meryl hang on! Now use...Hypnosis!" Vinny said once more. He had to give Cyn one thing, he sure was persistent with his battling. Meryl quickly chanted again and released the sleepy psychic energy yet again, this time in a more subtle fashion. She was barely standing up while using the move, this could easily catch Cyn and Claw off guard if they didn't catch onto it...

Alright, burning muffins. Those... Were apparently a thing. Cyn had been somewhat confused and distracted, but Vinny's outcry about his jacket getting wet - which made him look like a complete wuss, by the way - caught Cyn's attention back and also amused him. "Smooth, Vinny. I'm quite impressed by your ability to strategize and plan everything through to the end." Cyn mocked, as Claw's attack connected. Score. That was what Cyn needed more of.
Then off and came yet another Disarming Voice. Once again, one does not simply go about and dodge a Disarming Voice, so Claw took the hit once more. Although, Claw did take on more of a defensive stance this time around, reducing the damage it took from this attack as opposed to the last Disarming Voice. On the other hand, it was now time for a counterattack. "You know the drill, Claw! Quick Attack!" Claw dashed off towards the Ralts, a bloodlust in his eyes as he aspired to end the battle with this next move.
Suddenly, the Ralts whipped out a new trick: throwing a box. Audible gasp! What a wonderful move. Honestly, there's no way anything could go wrong this. It's the ultimate techni- Claw cut the box into pieces using Crush Claw, and pressed on, his nicely buffed attack not to be denied by something so simple as a box. Showdown time.
Of course, if Cyn could go out and predict what Vinny was about to use next, it would be quite helpful. So, what was the one move that Vinny had used every single turn so far, and had yet to use? You get three guesses.
If you thought Hypnosis, you were correct. At damn near the same Vinny commanded it, Cyn ordered "Claw! To the side!" As a result, the Hypnosis was dodged by a fairly large margin, and it came time to hopefully wrap this up. "Night Slash, finish it!" Cyn called out, apparently quite content to wrap this up as well.

Welp it looked like Vinny's genius planned hadn't worked. Vinny was hoping that Cyn and Claw would be caught off guard by the burning box and sprinklers but they were unfazed by it! How were they not?! Dammit his plan was fool-proof, it should have worked! If Cyn looked close enough, he could see Vinny's ears were the color of cherries now.
"Just you wait, kid! Right about now my trap card should play!" Vinny shouted at Cyn. He was NOT about to get outplayed by some damn kid! He was Vinny Hade, he's dealt with people like this before and he's always come on top! Well, aside from a few times but that didn't matter! This turn, his and Meryl's trap card was about to activated!
"Meryl get down!" Vinny called out to Meryl. Meryl quickly realized what was about to happen and ducked, but was still hit by the Night Slash. Meryl fell down to the ground hard and as so she did...a blast of psychic energy came out of nowhere. It appeared behind Claw as a sphere, and then fired straight at him (Future Sight has 100% accuracy). Meryl slowly got up after the attack appeared and use her remaining power left to lift up a garbage can and throw it weakly at Claw. Afterwords a faint grin could be seen on Meryl's face before she eventually fell to the ground.
Meryl had been knocked out. Vinny cursed under his breath before grabbing Meryl's poke ball and throwing it at her, Meryl was then returned to the safety of the poke ball which then flew right back into Vinny's right hand.
"You did good Meryl, you were real good. Maybe even the best!" Vinny said quietly to the poke ball before putting it back into his backpack. Vinny then reached in and grabbed another Poke ball and threw it onto the battle ground. The Poke ball opened it's self to reveal a Sneasel.
"So were you able to predict that, Cyn?" Vinny asked with a smirk, referring to the future sight of course.

Cyn grinned as Claw struck the final blow against Meryl, ultimately ending that bout. The flaming box, when in comparison with creatures that could cut through the said box and shoot goddamn lightning at things, kind of paled in comparison. On top of that, Vinny making a bitch out of himself when the jacket getting wet came into play was pretty damn hilarious.
Unfortunately, it seemed Cyn and Claw weren't quite out of the woods yet. Something that had come into play not too long ago - Future Sight - was about to take effect. The attack dealt more damage than Claw had taken so far, especially since it caught him completely off guard. Fortunately, the attacks Claw had taken thus far - One Disarming Voice, and a blocked Disarming Voice - didn't add up for much damage. As such, after the Future Sight, Claw was still able to pull himself off the ground, although he had taken a noticeable amount of damage.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a garbage can. "Claw, to the right." Cyn stated, evidently having lost interest in this particular bout of battles. Claw cut it in half, courtesy of his massively buffed attack power, and turned his attention back to Vinny.
"Well, that certainly happened. Claw, you alright? Want to press on?" Claw gave a curt nod, despite his wounds, which Cyn could respect. Claw had always preferred to fight on until he would collapse if he took another step, and, on top of that, Claw was still super-buffed from his earlier fight. To get him out of the fight now would be a complete waste, and Claw knew that quite well.
Of course, all of that said, it then came down to the Sneasel that Vinny sent out. "Ah, there's a new sight. It looks like fun to tango with." Claw let out a howl of approval, and took a battling stance, noticeably more defensive due to the wounds it had received so far. It probably wouldn't take much for Claw to keel over.
Of course, Cyn had made the first move last time, so he had to be at least somewhat courteous to his foe. "Well, then, since I went first last time, I guess you can be White this time around." Cyn stated, prepared to shut down this fight, preferably having only used one Pokemon.

First turn eh? Very well then, if Cyn wanted to seal his faith like that then so be it! "First move? Alright then, Wes use screech!" Vinny commanded to Wes. On cue the Sneseal hunched down on his back in a similar way a dog would and let out a shriek. The shriek actually somehow gained seeable form in the way of distorted plasma colored sound waves. Sure it wasn't loud as to actually harm anyone but it was annoying and served the purpose of catching Claw off guard.
After words Wes slowly walked up to Claw with a weird look of concern in his eyes. Wes bent down and grabbed a slightly dirty and burnt muffin and bought it up to Claw. Wes put the muffin in his right hand and held it out to Claw. Wes replied with a smile....that quickly turned into a smirk. Wes crushed the muffin in his fist and then punched Claw right in the face. Wes had used Feint Attack! (Always hits). Wes quickly got away from the attack and turned to Claw to laugh at him. Vinny also did the same. Deep inside, Vinny was worried. What he thought would work was instead easily avoided and when stuff like this happened Vinny could get a little...hasty.
"That's what you get!" Vinny said as he laughed the site. Was it a little cruel? Maybe, but that's what Cyn get's for talking smack. Ha! It was almost like Vinny was 12 again and this was another bully at school.
"Alright Wes let's end this turn with a Icy Wind!" Vinny said. Wes right on cue jumped three feet into the air and took a deep breath before breathing out. What came out was an usually cold blast of air, the blast moved fast but wasn't that strong but dang if it wasn't cold. If Claw was quick he could duck underneath the blast of cold air before it hit.
Meanwhile Wes was having fun. Sure Wes didn't exactly know who Vinny and him were fighting but he had always enjoyed fighting Zangooses. Just like Vinny it remind him of days back when Vinny was a kid after pulling off their schemes and fighting off angry kids who didn't like whatever it was that Vinny and him had done. Ahhh nostalgia was a wonderful thing.

Screech. Urgh. What an ugly little move to use as an opening. Fortunately, Claw had quite a bit of breathing room to work with when avoiding this attack. Claw turned to the left, and moved his right leg... backwards, without it ever leaving the floor. He did the same with his left leg, and moonwalked out of the way of the incoming Screech. Cyn gave Claw a mental high-five for his humor.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, Wes picked up a muffin. Cyn may not have been the sharpest sledgehammer in the jewelry box, but he knew some kind of plan when he saw it. "Claw, defend yourself!" Wes suddenly came forward, and aimed a punch at Claw's face, which Claw blacked by holding both of its paws(?) in front of the area being struck. While its hands probably stung like a bitch, it probably wasn't going to go down from something like that.
And, then, for Wes's final tactic of his turn: The Icy Wind. While Claw could probably still stand up afterwards if he were motivated enough, Cyn would rather not chance it. "Claw. Quick Attack. Get on all fours on your there ." Cyn commanded. To be honest, it was either that or just ducking like a bitch, which was something Cyn was against. The Icy Wind did end up grazing Claw's back, but it was nothing too serious. On the other hand, Wes was still in the air, which presented itself as the optimal way to deal a counterattack. "Well, then, Claw. How about a Crush Claw?" While Wes was still in the air, at full length, Claw was roughly 4 feet. Should be an easy enough bit of target practice.
Claw sprung forward, aiming a vertical slash at Wes for his first attack, and then a horizontal slash for his second attack. Cyn would've taken the time to buff Claw a bit more while his foes made asses of themselves amidst their laughing, but Cyn wasn't sure if he would have had time.
On a side note, Cyn was actually rather unfazed by all of their taunting. After all, even if Cyn, by some stretch of the imagination, managed to lose, it probably wouldn't matter too much. He'd get a second chance, after all. He seriously doubted that a loss would be allowed to remain on his record. On the other hand, if he managed to win, Vinny and Wes would have basically made asses of themselves for all of their mockery. Would serve them right, honestly.

...Did Claw just moonwalk out of the way of the screech? Why yes, Claw was using some high level strats in this battle it seemed. So far this battle has been going not so smoothly for Vinny, then again it was hard to come up with strats in an abandoned warehouse like this. Meryl wouldn't have be able to knock down the selfs, so what could Wes do? At the very least Meryl managed to slow down Claw a bit which was a lot of help, but Cyn still had another Pokemon left? Or was it two? Vinny didn't know, which is why his eyes were currently darting around the room to see what Wes could do. Could he freeze the sprinklers from the water? Maybe...then Vinny saw that Wes and Claw were in a fight mid-air.
"Q-quick Wes use Substitute!" Vinny commanded. On cue as soon as the Crush Claw connect with Wes, he vanished. He had been replaced by a small doll of him, it looked like it was for a child to use. Meanwhile Wes appeared behind Claw, sure Wes had taken some damaged from the little ninja move he did but he was far from out. It certainly was a lot better then getting knocked onto the cold concrete ground and then having a Zangoose fall onto him. Now that Claw was on the ground Vinny ran towards Claw with his right arm extended.
"Alright Wes use Slash!" Vinny told Wes. Wes then approached Claw from the behind and slashed him with his claws. After words Wes tried to appear in front of Claw...only to end up slipping on some water from the sprinklers. Wes fell down and sled right into one of the selfs. Ouch.
"W-Wes are you alright?" Vinny asked. Wes replied by rubbing his head and getting back up into the battle, now he was about ten fight away from Claw. "Alright good, Wes use Screech again!" Vinny told Wes. Wes then got into the same four legged position as from before and cried a disarming cry. This cry was just as annoying as the last one but would it prove to be effective?

"Q-Quick Wes use Substitute!" Ah, how about that. That particular move could be something to deal with in the future. In other news, if seems Wes going to be slippery devil to deal with. Of course, from the looks of things, Claw would be able to deal with this. It was a matter of patience - Until he could land a blow. Given that this thing seems to prioritize speed, Cyn found it unlikely it would hit very hard, and even then, Claw's buffed-up attack should be more than enough to deal with it.
Anywho, back to the matter of what was actually ongoing. It would appear that Wes had vanished. Claw managed to land on all fours, to which Cyn commented "Claw, remain vigilant." Suddenly, Wes appeared behind him. "Claw, behind you! Crush Claw!" Cyn called out, and slashed out at Wes from behind. The first slash would collide with Wes's oncoming attack, and, since Claw currently had far greater attack power than Wes, he would probably be able to overpower him with ease, possibly even inflicting small damage with the initial slash. That left the second slash, hopefully to land on a currently exposed Wes.
And, now, for the next course of action. It seemed Wes was currently tripping, so Claw decided to take advantage of that. He rushed in for a Quick Attack, aiming to land a blow while he on the ground. After all, tripping was his fault. As he rushed forward, though, Wes regained his balance... and hit Claw head-on with a Screech. While it was extremely obnoxious to listen to, Claw still managed to half hit and half run into Wes's general direction.
Of course, ending his turn on such a sour note just wouldn't do. To follow up, Claw turned around and aimed a Night Slash at Wes, hopefully catching him off guard.

Speed? Why yes, Wes did focus on speed rather then attack Cyn had certainly made a keen observation there! But in all seriousness, this kid was far better then Vinny had expected. It was possible that he might lose, to kid! However Wes still had plenty of fight in him so maybe, just maybe they could pull this fight out of their respective asses. Claw had managed to block the Slash with his own Crush Claw and the other one mostly made a mark on Wes' right arm. Wes winced in pain as it happened and when he reached to touch it, it stung.
Wes looked up as he saw Claw half running half attacking in his direction. Thankfully Wes already saw Claw running into his direction and was able to barely avoid it by an inch using a barrel roll to the left. Of course Cyn didn't want to end things on a sour note and ordered Claw to attack with a Night Slash. Wes closed his eyes are did his ninja act again, this time appearing on the other side of the room from Claw. Wes was still in pain from the Crush Claw and the two subs, but he still had his fighting spirt in him. If they couldn't win the battle, the least Wes could do was take this damn rodent out.
"Wes I got an idea! Use Icy Wind on the water!" Vinny commanded to Wes. Wes did as what was told and released an icy cold breath of air from his mouth. The air made contact with the water and made three feet of the water in front Wes frozen. It would most likely buy him sometime of Claw didn't turn out to be an acrobat as well. Wes then ran over to a self and jumped onto it, and then yelled out an unpleasant tone at Claw.

"It seems they're going to keep pressing on, Claw. Ready to wrap this up?" Claw let out a howl of approval. He sure wasn't done yet. If anything, the fact that he was still pressing on further increased his morale, which could spell out a bit of trouble. Or not, if Claw got overconfident, but he wasn't quite at the level he'd start those shenanigans yet. The question, however, was how soon?
Suddenly, it would appear that Vinny and Wes were trying shenanigans once more. Freezing the ground below them, eh? What kind of strategy could this possibly be leading to? For the first time in this fight, Cyn wasn't exactly sure what kind of stuff Vinny and Wes were up to. Unlike the last time, though, this one in particular could have consequences if Cyn guessed wrong.
So, how would Claw follow up? What a silly question. Instead of remaining in the water, where the icy moves would forever be an issue he had to deal with, he jumped onto the ice with Wes. He was on all fours, and dug his claws into the ice below him for insurance that he wouldn't suddenly begin slipping about. "Boo." Cyn taunted Vinny, before ordering that Claw leapt forward and used a Night Slash on Wes, apparently quite content to try and wrap this up. In either scenario of the attack succeeding and failing, Claw would Quick Attack his way back to the other side of the ice, using his claws to solidify his position while he prepared another Swords Dance as quickly as he could. It wouldn't take very long.
Post by Vinny Hade on Jun 29, 2015 10:49:04 GMT -5
Thankfully as Claw went to use Night Slash on Wes had had already avoided it by jumping onto the self. "We aren't done yet you know!" Vinny yelled out to Cyn and Claw. Wes replied with a roar of his own before getting into a more defensive position this time while still remaining on the self. While still having had avoided the ice that Wes had put down that wasn't going to deteriorate him. While Claw moved onto the other side of the ice Wes looked forwarded and released a blast of cold air right in front of him. This wasn't meant to be an offensive move as more of defensive move, the blast of cold air covered the front area of Wes, Claw would have to attack from the left or right to reach him but if he did he COULD risk it by accidentally slipping on the ice. The cold air was about seven feet in length and two feet high.
"Alright Wes nice! Now jump onto the next self!" Vinny told Wes. Wes then jumped across the gap to another shelve, unsuccessfully he ended up falling onto the ground. Thank fully he had ended up falling straight up but he was still in a dangerous situation, the bull was ready to charge at him. So Wes did what a matador would do, stand still. Of course in reality Wes was actually taking deep breathes preparing for another Icy Wind. If Cyn didn't catch the subtle movements Claw would be in for a world of hurt, or a winter wonderland. What ever came first.
"Come on Wes!" Vinny yelled at Wes hoping to encourage him more.
