Again Vesta was perusing the various sites of breeder farms. Doing so was practically a hobby by now, if Vesta was even the type to have a hobby, but it was a practical use of her spare time and because of this she had recently purchased an egg for her superior.

This time she was looking at one of the farms in Johto, one that she had purchased from before awhile back, and she just so happened to scroll over a Magikarp for sale. Immediately her mind brought up India, more specifically, his uselessness on land and the difficulty of training him because of that. While Magikarp had the same problem, its evolution did not. Gyarados was capable of slithering on land just as easily it was capable of swimming, and beyond that, if one managed to power through the difficulty of training Magikarp, they got an extremely powerful Pokémon in return, and Vesta had no problem with hard work.

Vesta spotted the timestamp on the information about the Magikarp; it was almost two and a half weeks old. Knowing most breeders, it was probably sitting in an aquarium or something for all that time. The soldier couldn’t help but think that the Magikarp better be prepared for a life change as she began to write an email to the breeder.

Hello, Mister Skyes. I would like to offer a female Carvanha in exchange for a male Magikarp you have. If this isn’t acceptable, please reply with terms that are.

Near his computer was a large tank on the ground. Inside were small Pokemon. Three Magikarps swam around, constantly bumping into each other. He rubbed his temple as he sat down at his desk. "I can't believe the client backed out on me..." He said with a sigh, his eyes lowering to the three useless Pokemon in the tank. For now, they were a little too small to be placed in the pond out back. But... their evolution were pretty good. A Gyarados was a powerful Pokemon, but it was a pain to train. He shoved the thought out of his mind and checked his email. A message from Vesta Dressler, a client he had worked with before. And... she was interested in one of his Magikarp? Now there was a shocker. He leaned back in his chair as he continued reading. Hello, Mister Skyes. I would like to offer a female Carvanha in exchange for a male Magikarp you have. If this isn’t acceptable, please reply with terms that are. A Carvanha was a pretty good Pokemon. It's attack was decently strong, but it's defenses lacked. If anything, it would just be another Pokemon to breed for him. It was one of those egg groups that he currently didn't own. He pulled himself to the computer and began typing a reply. Misses Dressler, I happen to have two male Magikarp. I will take your offer of the female Carvanha and send the Magikarp over. Please enjoy. Yes, enjoy. Because no one else will. Zane thought as he sent the email. He got up and looked at the tank at his feet, the three Magikarp staring up blankly at him. He took one of the male's Pokeballs and returned it. Ooc: Breeding Murdoc's male Spheal with Poliwag. Potential egg move: Encore/Ice Ball. Also, posting from a phone sucks.

Murdoc wasn't a stranger to breeders and how thry worked and where to find them. It was just a matter of getting into contact with these guys to get the rivht mix and match needed to breed the best of the best. As the older man painstakingly used his phones tiny texting system he fou d one on the GES list with the Poliwag he needed. Jotting down thr number, he made sure to grt into his head the idea of calling this guy up soon for a necessary breeding.

Picking it up he talked to a man requesting a breeding. "Yes, I can breed the Pokemon. We'll figure out a price once we get the eggs." Zane said before jolting down the man's number and hanging up. Soon after, the Pokeball transporter lit up and the client's Pokeball sat inside. He picked up the phone again and called Amber to collect her Poliwag, which arrived soon after as well. Taking both Pokeballs, he released the Pokemon in the back of his ranch near the pond and would check on them later. And while he was at it, he decided to take care of another client's request. He requested Amber's Feebas and Horsea as well. He released the two Pokemon in a separate pond and went back inside to continue his work. coded by electric of gs

It seemed like no time had passed at all as Murdoc received a notification that the egg in question was ready for pickup. He shuffled on over as quick as he could before realizing that his only flying Pokemon was currently knocked out into sleep land, nice and rested after a large and budget-killing meal... well, there was always time.

He instead pulled his computer back out and shot off an email at the breeder, informing him that he would return to pick up the egg at the nearest convenient moment... and hoped that would suffice.
