He may have supernatural abilities, but none of them involve true clairvoyance or whatever you called seeing the future. However, in this case he didn't need to be able to see the future to know what Ravenna was going to do as she slowly brought them down to the ground.

Miguel's eye twitched at the sheer volume of her thoughts and the agitated vibrations he could pick up. And here we go.
Now that Miguel nowhere to escape with him being safely in her claws, Ravenna let loose with the mental tirade that had been building up since he had first entertained the idea. ARE YOU TRYING TO GET YOURSELF KILLED IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE WITH YOUR STUPID STUNTS?! You could have died a hundred different ways in here, and that's just from the sounds I heard while I was in my pokeball! Arceus knows how many more actual scenarios of your possible death there might've been if I had actually witnessed your acts of stupidity in person! Where did all that street savvy and sense of self-reservation that Lord Anderson beat into your head with his fists go?!

And here she goes again. Even if Miguel wanted to retort with a valid point, he had already been shut down once and he knew that it would just happen again. When she got on a roll, she got on a roll. There was no stopping her mental tirades once she got started, especially once she found out that she didn't need to actually say the words in her rant and just think them. All she had to do physically was give him the stink-eye and seethe while her mind did the rest.
It was so tempting to just turn off their link, but his control wasn't refined enough to be able to shut off his Aura sense while he was frazzled and being held by the shoulders by Ravenna. Even worse, he would have needed to fight off his instinctual urge to listen to her thoughts as it was the polite thing to do for her.
So instead, he just tried his best to tune her out while surreptitiously grabbing that shiny marble they passed as they went down....
