With a final bash of the Scrafty's shovel, the earth above Yumi and her pokemon started to crumble, tiny crumb like chunks of dirt falling on and arount them, just rolling further down the tunnell they'd created. Climbing out and taking a deep breath of the thresh, if a tad sandy air, the red head fell to her knees, just giving one long, ecstatic, sigh of relief.
"Ugh...finally...~"
Tequill and Ko-ken were soon to follow, the two greatest fighters Yumi had were worn out after their exploring through the caves. The sawk looked to the sky, by the position of the sun he made a rough guess they were running from those Archeops for up to 4 hours. It was getting late and they had no chance of making it home before dark. Nodding to eachother, the fighters decided on their trainer's behalf it was best to set up camp, easing her backpack off her tired shoulders and getting some supplies together to set up a tent as Yumi rested on her side, catching her breath as Gavin, he Scrafty, lay down beside her, each completely pooped after their long day of digging, running, and fighting.

475 Think of a theme or common line As the campfire seemed to roar on into the early morning and the dim light of a sun over the horizon teased the eyelids of the sleeping Blaziken and Scrafty, Ko-ken remained awake as always, sitting beside his master's sleeping back, legs crossed. He was no insomniac, but he had trained his body to not require so much sleep, though this did require a hefty meal before night fall. Gazing out to the soon rising sun, he remained silent, as silent as Yumi was. The sawk knew that she was awake behind him, but found it rude to point out that she needed her rest. For the past hour she had been twirling the small gem they had found the past day between her fingers. This one seemed to exude a white and yellow swirl of light within, different from the others they had already collected. What disappointed her was that they had only found the one...
"There's gotta be more out there..."
Finally hearing his trainer gave Ko-ken reason to turn, his eyes lingering over the red head and feigning slight surprise at her early awakening. Neverthless he adjusted himself to now sit face to face as the red head rose up too, pretending to yawn and placing the Mega stone in her secure pocket, knowing full well that Ko-ken was not a fan of what he likely deemed artificial power boosts.
"Morning chrome dome." She smiled, rubbing the near polished bald head of her ever vigiliant fighter. "You get those two hours of sleep like you promised?" He shook his head, he only had an hour and three quarters, close, but he felt no desire to lie to Yumi. "Aw come on Ko-ken, you promised." He nodded with a sigh before standing up, offering his hand down to his trainer as she found her way to her feet, stretching out and yawning before she went off to find her boots, having slept in her clothes the night before it was all she needed.
"Alright, Tequill seems to be waking up, you need to put out the campfire while me and her roll up the coverings. Oh, and make sure Gavin wakes up will ya?" He nodded, making it his first priority as he dug his fingers into the earth beside the Scrafty, flipping the chunk he was lying on over, waking the lizard with a loud "GYEH!"
With the camp site soon packed away and Gavin un-concussed, the group moved on. Yumi wanted to spend the first half of their day doing a little more searching, but if they found nothing, they'd move on. She couldn't make her pokemon just search and search for these things, they needed to enjoy the time they had in Kalos before the next rocket order came in.

205 Start of something good. As the group wandered on, Yumi still waking up and Gavin groggily following behind rubbing his head, they moved on to the next patch to try for the first half of the day. If things went well they may stay around and make another day of it, but that probably wasn't going to happen...with hefty, sleepy footsteps behind Ko-ken, the fighter mad sure he was ready to catch his master if she decided to fall asleep mid walk. It was unlikely, but it also wouldn't be the first time.
"Ugh...I need to get more sleep these days..." Looking down at the ground Yumi caught sight of an odd glint her pokemon seemed to miss. As they continued on without her, the red head ducked down, wofting her hand over the dirt and sipersing it as a stone peered out between pebbles in the earth. She didn't recognise it as a mega stone, before suddenly remembering something else, looking to the bracelet on her wrist. The stones matched. Yumi wasn't about to let this go to waist. It was no good to her, but scooping the keystone up, she knew this was the start of something good CODED BY SYLVIE |
